PSU just blew the hell out of this game! Paved the way for another Sparty Big Ten Championship!!! We can never have a completely perfect football day! So shitty!

Somehow the PSU team that eviscerated us is giving MSU a chance to win on the last kick, and an OSU team we haven't beaten sans Fickell in forever is laying a total egg in Iowa City. It's fantastic and so annoying at the same time

BEcause 1. They don't have as many resources as M 2. They have lower rated recruits 3. Their QB is actually good despite what this board have OU believe. Which how the F aren't people annoyed ? Hoyer, cousins, cook now lewerke Annoying.

The fact that they beat us with players that would barely be considered back-up at most P5 schools. Seriously, Dantonio is starting like 3-5 walk-ons because of all the offseason losses they had on the 2-deep, and still managed to significantly improve on a 3-9 season.

Think about it- this is going to be their best team in at least a decade or two. Next year there's no Moorhead, no McSorley, no Barkley. This is the best team they've fielded in years and years and they're out of the playoff

So sweet

I know people hate OSU but we need to get Sparty back to where they belong. First thing first, we have to get back in front of these fuckers or we are going no where.

Dantonio's winning percentage at MSU is significantly higher (.688 to .575) than Saban's was there.  He also led MSU to three consecutive top-6 national finishes.  Given the inherent disadvantages of that program, that is pretty incredible.  I put Saban and Meyer as the top two current college football coaches, but Dantonio deserves credit as an elite coach (and a perfect fit for that program, just like Harbaugh is a perfect fit for our program).

I miss John Cooper.

Before that you have to go back to 1914 and Illinois, who was unranked because there were no rankings yet but were retroactively named undefeated national champs.

The same for Penn State in 1912. And Michigan in 1905 was two points shy of the same.

Oberlin beat 'em twice in 1892, 40-4 and 52-0. Maybe those count? There were some Western Reserve and Kenyon beatdowns in those years, too.

OSU will destroy MSU next week. A PSU loss was probably in UM best interest for conference title hopes. MSU has been close to losing every game this year. They could drop one to Maryland or...never mind. Go Terrapins?
