Aren't We Where We Should Be?

Like, this Sucks... No question. But before the season we thought we'd be 8-4 to 10-2. That's were we all thought we'd be. In his 3rd year at Stanford, JH was 8-4. We have shit freshman receivers, a second string qb, but, did we really think we would be better than this?

Yes most of us thought anywhere from 10-2 to 8-4, but to get fucking blasted like this, absoutely not. Seriously low ass bar if that is what we expected. The defense regardless of starters lost still has NFL talent all over it, and even they didn't show up tonight.

Fuck that. UM hired “the best coach.......” and in year 3 they have zero QBs and a shit online. Both of those things are supposedly strengths of JH and Drevno and they are the main problem with the team. It is not acceptable.

about the QB - O'Korn was leaps and bounds better than last week, took a lot of hits, had little time and got what any QB could given the overall situation.

Substandard offensive line. Substandard quarterback play. Poor play calling. Third year.

Shouldn't lose to MSU at home. Not unreasonable to lose to PSU but not that badly, nor as badly as the future losses to Wisconsin and OSU at home.

Being Mr. Quirky media guy is ok when you're winning, now those tuxedos seem kinda fucked up.

Initially I thought we'd lose psu, wisky, and o$u. I stand by that. We may even see a loss to Minnesota or Maryland. Hell, at this point I'm not even comfortable about rutgers. There are better days ahead... but this year won't be one of them.

People thought a down/reload year would be one or two losses max such as with Meyer and Saban and now maybe Dabo? I guess we have to accept our down/rebuild year is four losses., ekeing out wins against really weak teams, and offensive disarray. I think folks just had their expectations a bit higher.

So where we’re supposed to be after three years is barely scraping by against awful teams and getting our teeth kicked in by the good teams? That’s awfully depressing considering how much Harbaugh is being paid to coach this team.

Used to be that on Saturday I’d be nervous all day that Michigan might lose. Now I expect it and hope to be surprised by a win. Sad what this program has become.

Yes we expected losses but more so because we expected crucial mistakes at crucial times, due to the youth. This kind of loss is not what we are expected, and I reiterate anybody coming into the season who expected this team to get run off the field in any of those losses has an extremely low ass bar of expectation.

Yes, the season is as expected, but just looking for that signature win where we are not favored to win. Like Harbaugh’s Stanford upsetting USC. Hopefully we can get one against OSU.

I think OSU will beat Penn State and then beat us worse than Penn State just did.

Getting beaten and, to be honest, outcoached the way we were this evening is unacceptable.

Last year was a rebuilding year for OSU...they made the playoff. We are looking at minimum 4 losses. I don't see us reaching their level in the foreseeable future.

but the loss to a shityy MSU team and a whuppin' by PSU was not anticipated. Even worse, there is little potential for this team to win a meaningful game moving forward. Hopefully they beat the lesser teams and keep it reasonable vs UW and OSU. Very poor season by Harbaugh with all of the O problems and bad playcalling.

I would better-accept this loss if we had stuck together as a team, played our best, and yet still lost.

There were no bright spots for us in this game.  Every single facet dissolved. Our penalization was bad, our play calling - both sides - was just as terrible.

Nothing good obtains from our play in this game. Other teams get top play from their frosh and sophomores. Ours appear poorly prepared.

This loss is on our staff.

Yeah. It’s not that big of a deal. We beat them worse last year and look how they look now. We’ll win 8, maybe 9 games. It’s way worse we lost to State because you can say what you want but they’re not good. We should have won that game even with the storm. This team is young. Next year they’ll be ready to compete again and if a down year is nine wins that’s not so bad.

Agree with the down year means 9 wins but we blew it last year totally blew it. If last years team made the playoffs and beat OSU and won the big ten the heat would b far less this season. But reality check we didnt harbaugh had all the talent in the world and he was outcoached and unlucky i guess. Point is i am begining to lose faith in his abilities. Why is this so hard for people to understand. Why does Harbaugh deserve less heat than anyone else at this point? Beating OSU would b huge for this season. Its the only thing that can save the season now. I just dont see it happening i hope im wrong tho

Now he wasn't going to improve from his last year there if he had stay for year five, but at this point the offense is going backwards and the defense got exposed.  OSU got a lot of tape for how to stop Michigans defense.

Yes, the dotards within the fanbase thought harbaugh could turn a tirefire into bama in 3 years with only sophomores and freshman with no contributors from 14/15 recruits. That’s on them.

Funny how all week most of what I read on here was how PSU wasn't really the #2 team in the country and how everyone "had a good feeling" about this one. But now, they're the #2 team in the nation and we should have expected this result. Hmmm

Patience is a virtue.
When we all want something, we gotta wait.
Others will try and cheat their way to it but the one that waits patiently and play by the rules will be rewarded even bigger in the end.

Just something to tell every Michigan fan to wait for that natty Harbaugh will bring here.
