Why isn't anyone talking about this yet?
Shane Morris 28/37 so far 467 yards 5 td's and no interceptions so far versus THE Kansas!
Why did Harbaugh let him transfer!!?? He should be our starting QB until Peters is ready!! Sit Speight down! Better yet boo him!

Our team will be fine this year. Go Blue

the kid had his shot at Michigan and STILL lost the job to shaky transfer from Iowa THEN to RS So. 3-star QB.
Too bad. So sad.
Happy for him that he is beating crappy Big 12 teams and breaking records.

Rudock has proven to be a damn good QB, but I refuse to believe that Speight and O'Korn are that much better than Morris. After what we saw in the spring game, there's no way O'Korn should be infront of Peters. Sometimes I get the feeling that Harbaugh plays favorites. Higdon's coach kind of confirmed it last week.

do tell, on this Higdon's coach?

If McCaffrey didn't redshirt this year to preserve his eligiblity, he would be ahead of Peters right now.
That's how far Peters has fallen in the depth chart. Yes, he's currently 4th. (Sam Webb hinted at this iirc).
Doesn't mean that Peters can become the guy again. He can. Just look at Ty Isaac. Went from Harbaugh's/Wheatley's doghouse in 2015 to being the starter today (when Chris Evans was expected to have the starting job locked up). He's currently our leading rusher at 247 yards through 2 games.
But Peters, while tremendously blessed with various gifts, hasn't put it together yet. He faded during fall camp...
So the pro-Brandon Peters crowd can hang on the Spring Game performance. It means next to nothing. That was merely one data point and the coaches have access to a FAR greater sample size (the totality of spring practices + summer workout reports + fall camp).

The sole source for your assertion that Peters is behind McCaffrey is a vague hint from some "insiders" who may or may not even have data on this.
Peters is clearly not ready to play starting QB for this team. But he's a redshirt freshman who just turned 20. Don't be so fucking eager to assume the worst about players toward whom you have an irrational dislike.
So the anti-Brandon Peters crowd can hang their sneers on an ambiguous statement from someone who isn't on the team or the staff. It means next to nothing. That was merely one data point and the coaches have access to a FAR greater sample size (the totality of spring practices + summer workout reports + fall camp).

No.
I have my own sources of info inside Schembechler Hall. I worked there when I was a student and built up reliable contacts. I don't need to rely on Sam Webb, Steve Lorenz, etc. but I take into account what they say to see if it matches the info I receive.
You'll have to pardon me for laughing at your pathetic last paragraph.
Btw, there's a anti-Brandon Peters crowd? He hasn't even take a snap officially in a meaningful regular season game. But keep on keepin' bub...

There are backups on every team in the country who think they are better than the starter and blame politics for their position on the depth chart.

all kidding aside i'm just watching the game and he looks good. As any reasonably obsessed fan I followed his recruitment all the way up until now. It is fun seeing local kids do good things for local teams. Thought others would feel the same way.

Cincinnati kicked off their 2017 campaign with a narrow victory over Austin Peay, an FCS team that entered the year having won one of their previous 47 games. The Governors(!) outgained the Bearcats.
They are not much better than Kansas. If we had continued to run the ball like the 1st quarter we should have won this game by 50. It's too bad Harbaugh is stubborn and keeps trying to shove Speight's terrible passing game down our throats.
