Of course that happened.

There is still a full half left to play.

Yep. Now I see why the fuck we're #305 on the Kenpom luck index.
March 10th, 2017 at 12:59 PM ^
that shot just dropped us to #350.

March 10th, 2017 at 12:45 PM ^
Because, Michigan. Of course it goes in. We are legitimately cursed in that regard.
March 10th, 2017 at 12:47 PM ^
this feels like our football season. Lots of upper class talent ends up with disappointing record because of bad play, bad luck, and/or bad officiating.
March 10th, 2017 at 12:45 PM ^
How the hell are we ahead?
March 10th, 2017 at 12:45 PM ^
Why didn't they call a timeout to set up the last shot? Bad shot by Walton set that up.
March 10th, 2017 at 12:50 PM ^
Used one early and generally coaches save them for the second. Not sure why we didn't go DJ pick and pop though.
March 10th, 2017 at 12:51 PM ^
you GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! Played perfectly, great shot kudos to the purdue kid, I love this team.
March 10th, 2017 at 12:52 PM ^
Because then you only have two timeouts for the rest of the game. Blaming Walton for Purdue making a half-court prayer seems a little short-sighted, and yet perfectly on-par for this blog sometimes.

This has been one of the best halves of basketball I have seen in a long time, the conflicting styles are amazing to watch. These are the best two teams in the Big 10 in my opinion.

Wilson was the player of the year! Amazing display of his talent!

March 10th, 2017 at 12:48 PM ^
And they are still losing....... We are half way there. Stay in there boys, you can do this.
March 10th, 2017 at 12:49 PM ^
Biased, one-sided officiating, Plane crashes, half court shots and full court passes as game ends.
Can you imagine what our record would be if God wasnt pulling out all the stops against us? Tough to beat the other team, the officials AND a Diety.
March 10th, 2017 at 12:49 PM ^
If G-d is rooting against us, we have bigger problems than basketball games.
there's football games, too.
March 10th, 2017 at 12:48 PM ^
Mo gets 2 early fouls, Purdue shooting north of 60%, and we STILL have a lead. I'll take that first half any day. Let's close it out, Blue.

March 10th, 2017 at 12:48 PM ^
That last shot aside, superb finish to the half. For awhile it was looking like it just wasn't our day but we've really battled. 20 more minutes.
March 10th, 2017 at 12:50 PM ^
And basically that whole half was played without Wagner, who is a matchup nightmare for their bigs. We got this shit

That's where Beilein's T will help. He made his point. Keep the refs from calling ticky tac stuff on Wagner.
March 10th, 2017 at 12:51 PM ^
we need to have Wagner guard Edwards in the second half if he's going to be on the floor (or Haas if both bigs are in). He can't guard those bigs without fouling. DJ the far superior defender anyway. He's forcing misses.
March 10th, 2017 at 12:53 PM ^
More think we need to have Wagner and Wilson make shots/drives on Haas whenever he's in. Just keep him stapled to the bench as a defensive liability and it solves a lot of our defensive issues.
