Solomon trending to Bama?

If Solomon got his answer on Wednesday, the only coaching staff who had visited him this week prior to that was from USC. Alabama, Georgia and Michigan all came in on Thursday.
"It is not just Alabama and Michigan; all four of the schools are still up there for me," said Solomon. "It has been pretty crazy going through all this, but all four of the schools are great. They all have things I really like."
"For the school I am going to, it came down to what they have been doing in football and their graduation rate," said Solomon. "What they have been doing in those two areas haS been pretty unbelievable."

alabama graduation rate: 66.1%
Michigan: 90.4%
Georgia: 83.9%
USC: 91%
if graduation rate is a huge thing, alabama is the worst, a lot of crazy signs pointing to USC.

What is the correct grad rate then? according to college score card, Alabama has a 66% graduation rate and 87% of students return after their first year. graduation rates are pretty cut and dry.

Michigan: 79%

Not that you could convince an 18 year old, but I estimate the 1% difference is not statistically significant.
First post ever. Coversation on this blog is a breath of fresh air compared to Mlive. I have been missing out for so long.

Assuming the graduation rates are equal, it would seem the value of a degree would be more important?

Not sure how reputable this site is, but I would bet these numbers are within reason.

Honest question, Who the hell graduates from alabama's football team? Who? Walk ons? The good players leave early and they players who cant get on the field as srs are processed.

At least spell his name right. I'd love to have him. But there is a reason we rarely get recruits from Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, as well as Louisiana and South Carolina and the panhandle of Florida.

If anything, it points more to USC than anyone, but it doesn't really give us any inclination of what he is doing.

The grad rate thing is what stood out to me as well. Alabama couldn't sell quality of education so they sold that, and Solomon is satisficing that in his mind as meeting his (and moms's) education requirement. He wants to go to Alabama.
The only proviso being that he seems to tell people what he thinks they want to hear. So who knows. Probably we know, not happening. But who knows.

Even with the caveat that crystal balls aren't a given, the last 17 predictions are in favor of Michigan, including Steve Wiltfong, and the correct predictor of Isaiah Wilson's recruitment, Ryan Bartow. Until something changes, I'm still cautiously optimistic.

It could easily mean the last two years with Harbaugh. Taking over for a fired coach and going 10-3 in two years and coming within a whisper of the playoffs is pretty impressive (when you're not a whiny "unacceptable" type).
But yes, more likely referring Alabama.
