OT: Bolivians -- This is your thread to request clemency.

Submitted by Billy Ray Valentine on

In the earlier Isaiah Hole CB thread, several Bolivians surfaced to make their case for clemency.  I posed the question in the Moderator Action Sticky whether a thread dedicated to clemency requests would be permitted.  One of our gracious moderators indicated that the thread would be allowed, and it also may be a good recipe for humor.

Humor is the hope here, especially self-depricating humor.   Plead your case.  Non-Bolivians should weigh-in either in support or against clemency.  Please do not get political.  And please, do not re-post the exact same material that led to your Banhammer, unless it is in the context of what not to write.

Assuming we can have nice things, a thread like this might be entertaining every few years.

One final note -- I hope the moderators see it in their heart to consider at least one, if not more, application for clemency, assuming the user shows true remorse and accountability without qualification.

(fingers crossed on this one)

My old account was banned, hence the new account name, after I had a couple two tree too many drinks during the 2014 Michigan state game. Someone was preaching none sense and I said something like spear off high horse. I've seen way worse and think a mod overreacted.

Can I ask, what is "Bolivia" like? Can you only read but not post? I'm just curious to stop my future self from posting stupid shit. (I have received a warning before, don't want another)

If it is just negative points but no banhammer, you can post here but cannot start threads, and I think you have to fill out one of those Captcha boxes every time you post. That doesn't stop some of the more aggrieved denizens of Bolivia, of course.

There isn't a lot that we can do in the interface other than dock / resurrect points and de-activate usernames, but sometimes that's the only thing that maybe makes people think twice in the future.

How many folks have been sent, and there's only 3 here to ask for clemency? I say since they are the only ones who care enough to ask for it, they should at least receive serious consideration.
