This is from Jeremiah Holloman's Periscope

Around the 4:30 mark some of Solomon's comments include:

-"F*** Michigan"

-"They didn't even remember my name"

-"I don't know anybody up there"

-"My coach made me wear a compression shirt to look bigger"

All this while talking to Slaton and some Georgia kids.... He Gone

Wasn't a commitable offer.

Michigan cooled on him.

I heard his Senior film wasn't as good as his junior.

Bagmen

He had told Harbaugh he didn't drink milk and the offer was pulled. He's just bitter.

Am I missing any?

Lol...nope. I think you just about covered it. Also, it sounds like a few of y'all would be surprised at how many of these kids talk like this when the cameras are down...including kids that have reputations as "high character" kids (Jourdan/Jabrill/etc)... It doesn't say anything about his character positive or negative, other than him not having the awareness to clean it up when the phones are out...just how a lot of these kids talk & joke around... The staff knows how to recruit & coach up d-lineman, tho. If there's any position I don't lose sleep about (as far as missing on a recruit), it's here. We'll be fine.

The kid is a BEAST on the football field, no denying that and sour grapes won't change my opinion.

But this is exactly why I was never a fan.

For on, he reminded me a lot of that kid who committed to 19 schools last year only to pick the one he said he wouldn't ever go to (Texas).

Two...this isn't the first time I've heard about character deals that just aren't the classiest. I'm not saying kids don't talk like this, I'm not saying I don't talk like this...so I'm not that offended.

I don't believe Michigan has a "profile" student-athlete...but I do not think it was ever going to be a great fit.

I think you can get some of the same SEC-kids with that dog in em who are great kids on/off the field. Peppers is one. Bama has some, I'm sure all SEC schools do. So this isn't a rant on a SEC kids who don't care about academics, just want a quick pay day, aren't educated and just think about girls and football.

This is a rant to say you can get that rock star athlete with that little bit of extra WHATEVER it is they seeem to have down in SEC country, that extra dawg in them...and they can be awesome people as well (i.e. Peppers).

Never a great fit. Always prefere Tufele, who it doesn't look great for - but if you would've given me a choice, I like Tufele...I think he's an explosive player and fits what Michigan is trying to do. I just don't think we lead for him unfortunately.

I am not going to even listen to this! Because I want to hold my opinion in a brighter light when it comes to kids and how they decide their futures.

Aubrey Solomon "if you let a simple letter and marketing mistake judge your future your in trouble in life son". BIG TIME!!!!

You got an opportunity to play for one of the best coaches in all of football. Attend Top 3 University in the great US of A! Free education at this University.

Stop your crying and grow up. Millions would do anything for your opportunity....

We don't want a kid like this being a part of our program in my opinion.

At some point you have to move on.

When the girl you've been chasing forever tells her friends you are a dork, a cheapskate, and have a ltiile wienie . . . it's time to ask yourself:  What happens if I do get her?  Is this really someone I want to be around every day?

Let's just part ways before it gets ugly.

I don't think he was ever coming here to begin with. The way he's talking makes me think the letter provided a convenient excuse. Smells of mom wanting him to go to UofM. Why even coming back for the final visit?

I was on a Ski trip with a bunch of people once including a guy who I really don't know (State grad and friend of my brother in law-seemded like a major DB as most of them do but I digress).

He was telling us how his daughter had applied to Michigan, Western, and State. State was her top choice and although she got into all three, and Michigan had offered her the most financial aid (basically a 4 year ful ride), Western had made a personal phone call, did the most follow up and had offered some  financial aid as well as  "showing the love"

Full ride to U of M or Western. C'mon man. Those are decent schools but

Michigan State was really not "showing her the love" and had not called her personally or offered any money yet (although there was apparently some issue with her application).   This clown said she would probably choose Western because they had showed the most interest and offered some financial becuase it was clear that they "knew what they had".

While if found his story very dubious, if true it reflects the culture of parents and students that feel they are entitled to special treatment.    There's no choice there for a rationale person I don't care who you grew up root for and if you didn't like the school why apply?  Was michigan truly the backup school in this situation?   Would have called BS but was in mixed company and my wife (also a Michigan Grad) was kicking me under the table.

This takes me back to comments like those attributed to Aubrey Solomon. No doubt he's stud, but there is probably either something more going on or a character issue.

Full ride to U of M or Western. C'mon man.

Wow, kid is probably better off not going to UM. If I would've made a comment like that in high school and my dad had found out about it, I would've been slapped upside the head. The kind of wack if I were chewing food and my mouth was even a little bit open, it would've been on the floor.

The funniest thing is that the kid thinks Bama fans will still give a shit about him as soon as he enrolls. You're just a number, dude, and unless you get your shit together and ball out for them, you're gonna wish people only forgot your name instead of your entire existence. Ask your buddy Deshawn Hand

I didn't care for his remarks either, but some of these responses are way over the top. Serious question, would people still consider him a classless prima donna if he had said Fuck Ohio State? He was always going to be difficult, or maybe even impossible, to keep in this class, but we can't dismiss the BBQ letter fiasco as a simple clerical error. That was a massive screw-up on the part of the staff. You can't tell a kid he's a priority and then not even commit to paying attention to whether he attended your event, and misspelling his name to boot. That's an embarrassingly low level of detail for a detail-oriented staff.

and 5 stars are thinking "I want to be in the NFL in 3 years and I don't even want to go to class".

Look at Bama, OSU, Clemson, Georgia, etc.  How many of their players leave in 3 years?  How many graduate?  These kids don't want to look 10 years down the road, they are only looking at the draft in 2020.

Teenagers talking trash is just part of life and a HS athlete wants to project machismo. So it's clear that he isn't choosing UM and the whole survey process was a charade in the context of his final decision. Who is really surprised? Hopefully the staff still has time to land another DT in addition to Tufele ...

I don't believe he was ever going to end up at Michigan with or without the famous BBQ letter. Would have been a great get, but so would a lot of other guys. Hopefully no one thought we still had a real shot at getting him when he decommitted.

Still think Harbaugh gets a stud guy that is off the radar right now.
