Taco Charlton w/the "Line of the Day"
Saw this come across my Twitter feed from an ESPN reporter. This is just another reason why with Harbaugh as our football coach IMO we will never have to worry about our teams being competitive. Harbaugh won't let it happen.
Line of the day, from Wolverines DE Taco Charlton: "We heard about the Seminoles jet skiing yesterday. We were busy practicing." DL Ryan Glasgow added: "I've yet to see a bikini. All I've seen are dudes in football pads."

good to know the team isn't practicing in bikinis.

Borat mankini.

If you google "mankini treasure island beach", you will see the strange dude that prances around the tampa area beaches known as "mankini". Looks like a Buckeye fan for sure.

Ha ha. Either way, I'm glad they're not practicing in anything that ends in "kini".

I haven't seen any bikinis in Michigan either. One of winter's many downsides.

football pads."
Now that's a recipe for strong legs at the Orange Bowl. Not so different from training for a boxing match. Focus on football now; after the win there will be time enough for bikinis and jet skis.

I read somewhere they get New Year's Eve in Miami, hopefully celebrating a FSU beatdown.

I always wondered this.
Like Bo and Lloyd before him, Harbaugh considers bowl games a business trip. No fun in the sun.
So, why not give the players some time after the bowl to enjoy a location many of them have never been to?
What kind of "reward" is a bowl game in Miami that is no different than a bowl game in Detroit from the player's point of view?

Definetly comment of the day.

I'd say Galsgow won the "line of the day". But that's just like, my opinion man.
December 28th, 2016 at 2:29 PM ^
Well said, Dude. That line really tied the presser together.

I don't know, I think both Brian Galsgow and Tacko Chartlon had good lines.

If you can't work up any real enthusiasm and rooting interest in watching the Orange Bowl, why the hell do you bother to watch any football at all?

"..., but if they lose, I won't care one bit."
These are not the words of a competitor. Thank goodness the coaches and players do not share this mentality.
December 28th, 2016 at 3:08 PM ^
Recruits care.

Shhhh! You aren't supposed to tell him, was going to be our little secret!
December 28th, 2016 at 3:15 PM ^
You are a participation trophy guy eh?
Fuck that. Attack every day with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind. Be better today than you were yesterday. Fun is for losers. Winners work.
December 28th, 2016 at 3:45 PM ^
yep, I came off a bit wrong in my first comment and burried myself. My original point was that it is championship or bust. I give no shits about finishing 2nd or 3rd. In my humble, unwanted opinion, I won't really care if they lose this game. I'll be a bit disappointed after, but the next day I won't think much about it unlike the regular season losses. Doesn't mean I don't want them to win (i'll be rooting my ass off) but if I had a choice, I would pick the Iowa or OSU games to win over this one a million times over because winning those games gets UM in the playoffs and a chance at the championship. Winning this game gets them an Orange Bowl trophy. I don't really care how many Orange bowl trophies they have unless they get the shiny one to go with it.

Let me take a crack at how important this game is to me. If we win we are 11-2. We finish with a better record than coach's first year. The program shows improvement over a great first year. Recruits see which way the program is heading. so, yeah, this game is kind of important.
