05/22/2018 - 6:48pm Splitting up MSU and OSU?

Any insight into whether this will also result in splitting up Stae and OSU home and away games? Like God intended.

03/27/2018 - 8:14pm No

No

03/15/2018 - 11:07pm +1

+1 for the correct use of his first name.

03/09/2018 - 10:42pm Good, yes...

Generational...I don't think so. I recall many of the same superlatives being tossed Reggie Bush's way several years ago, and Ricky Williams before that. Certainly solid careers, but didn't turn out to be game changers.

03/03/2018 - 11:54pm Love it!

Survive and advance. Plus, gives me the ability to talk s little smack up here in the great white north.

01/13/2018 - 8:22pm If both stay...

If both Wagner and Mathews stay...I could see Ibi Watson as a transfer candidate.

12/26/2017 - 6:00pm Go Army

Beat Navy!

Two in a row and counting...

- USMA Grad 2003

12/12/2017 - 10:30pm 21 - 0

That is all.

- USMA Grad

12/04/2017 - 6:02pm Whew

We at least now have the opportunity for meaningful change. I was worried about this (at least as much as I can muster for soccer).

11/27/2017 - 10:26pm Comparison

Reminds me a little bit of Mo Hurst as a recruit. Great bloodlines and athleticism without a ton of hype coming out of HS.

11/27/2017 - 7:04pm Nice

Even as a USMA grad...I have to admit these look pretty good. Then again, slick-looking helmet paint jobs didn't help them last year. GO ARMY - BEAT NAVY! Sing Second (again).

11/15/2017 - 10:26pm Duh!

If you've been on here for a bit, you should know the answer. If a kid picks a service academy, the ivy league, Stanford, or Meeeechigan...then he cares about academics and his post football future. Anywhere else, and he only cares about large bags of cash!

11/12/2017 - 10:10pm If take some of that action.

If take some of that action. Then again, I also thought the PSU game would be close.

11/06/2017 - 11:03pm Overall, not a sound strategy

Overall, not a sound strategy for a successful passing game. Better to try and coach these guys up and pray for improvement.

11/06/2017 - 11:00pm Limited

May be an option on a very limited number of quick, short passes...but would probably be a disaster for anything that requires the qb survey the field and attempt to push the ball downfield.

10/18/2017 - 6:49pm Agreed

Have to give a lot of credit to Zordich. I was (mistakenly) underwhelmed by his hire...but he has proven to be one helluva coach.

10/17/2017 - 11:16pm Agree

For some reason...I'm feeling more confident about this game than I should be. Expecting it to be a close, low scoring affair. Hope we can find a way to manufacture just enough plays to pull it off.

10/17/2017 - 10:59pm Lol

Lol

10/17/2017 - 10:57pm Doubt he's back at all this

Doubt he's back at all this year. Just hope he comes back next year close to the same player. Just a gruesome injury.

10/17/2017 - 12:41pm Have to believe that we won't

Have to believe that we won't need to dedicate as many bodies as NW to contain Barkley, and our DBs will be able to contest more throws. In all, I think we match up fairly well, this will be another low scoring slugfest of a game

09/19/2017 - 10:59pm As a USMA alum, I can

As a USMA alum, I can unequivocally say...no!

08/10/2017 - 7:52pm El Paso

Lived there for 5 years in the mid-late 2000's. Can't speak to what it's like now...but wasn't too bad back then. Met my wife there, great food, etc... Just need to resist the urge to venture across the border to J-Town.

07/25/2017 - 10:00pm Weiss $$

I'm pretty sure they JUST stopped paying Charlie Weiss millions of dollars a year...so they timing would be right.

07/20/2017 - 9:28pm Bama

I'd go with the latter. Not sure Les wants jump on board the sinking ship that is Ole Miss..he may wait to see what else is available after the season. Meanwhile, we know Saban has no scruples when it comes to hiring degenerates.

07/20/2017 - 9:23pm Why

Why?

07/17/2017 - 9:57pm Who...

Who the fuck is Mark Thompson?

07/11/2017 - 7:05pm Swim Lanes

Lest we forget these during peak crootin' season

06/06/2017 - 8:36pm Many Years Ago

Many Years Ago (more than I care to count) I was an aspiring QB, and attended a camp in IL. Coach was playing for the Bears at the time and was instructing the QB's. Got the chance to play catch with him for awhile...

Was an incredible experience. I told stories for years that the only reason I was able to catch the ball was out of self preservation. Had an amazing arm, and hit you square in the numbers every time.

05/15/2017 - 12:59pm Also...

Pretty good at securing undeserving 5th and 6th years of eligibility.

04/21/2017 - 8:21pm Well that was...

Anticlimactic. Been a lock there for what seems like forever.

Still a long way to signing day, so it'll be interesting to see what happens. However, if we end up with Mustapha and the kid front NY, I'll be more than happy with TE haul for this class.

04/14/2017 - 1:09pm 10th On-Field Coach

Has there been any significant chatter as to how Michigan will address the additional coaching position?

03/17/2017 - 10:05pm New Glarus

In WI and had to work all day, so couldn't watch the game live. But stopped by the bar afterwards and celebrated the only way a reasonable person can in these parts...

Several Spotted Cows and a side of cheese curds!

Go Blue...and keep it rolling on Sunday

03/10/2017 - 11:30pm BLUE

Of course, Johnnie Walker BLUE is still my go-to drink on celebratory evenings such as this...

03/10/2017 - 11:28pm Spotted Cow

Live in Wisconsin these days, and having Spotted Cow available on tap everywhere is one of the few redeeming qualities about my current living situation.

02/18/2017 - 5:40pm Blue

Johnnie Walker BLUE...

On the rocks...

Always go with blue!

01/17/2017 - 5:41pm No Such Thing

Having made the leap from a C-130 about 25 times many years ago...I can tell you that there really is no such thing as a "perfectly good airplane" in the USAF inventory.

01/11/2017 - 3:14pm Go Army!

As a USMA graduate...I would be pretty happy to see him go.

BEAT NAVY!

01/05/2017 - 6:50pm Doesn't worry me a bit

Doesn't worry me a bit considering all the experience and depth we have returning on the O-Line.

/s

12/28/2016 - 6:20pm Yep...

Now that's the epitome of a harbaufense

12/28/2016 - 2:57pm Good to Know

Good to know that coach, while he certainly marches to the beat of his own drum, is pragmatic enough to understand what truly motivates the young men in his charge.

12/28/2016 - 2:30pm Hhmmm

Maybe coach can bring some of the latter over to the practice field for additional motivation. Put them on the other end of the field and see if we can shave a few tenths off of our sprint times. Winners get to sprint back to the other end where another batch awaits.

12/22/2016 - 6:29pm Blue

Last working day of the week for me. Going to relax/celebrate with a few fingers of Johnnie Walker Blue while watching the game and (hopefully) read a new Hello post tonight.

Merry X-Mas everyone

12/20/2016 - 11:06pm When...

Someone on the board let me know when the actual bowl games worth watching begin

12/20/2016 - 10:59pm Ditto

I was wondering the same thing. Even if Grandma was at the tail end of her softball career when she was an Olympian...that would put her in her mid-fifties on the high end. Definitely quite young to have a grand daughter about to embark on her college days. Nevertheless, she appears to come from great stock. Welcome and Go Blue!

10/24/2016 - 11:10pm Tufele

I'd like to think Tufele isn't quite in longshot territory. Not saying he is a sure thing...but I'm feeling better about him than the others on the list

10/24/2016 - 10:52pm A Little Bit

Don't completely disagree...but also think it is a good problem to have and somewhat of a necessity. We have a ton of attrition due to graduation on both lines as it is this year. Depending on the haul, you can assume a 'somewhat' even split of early contributors and some developmental projects to smooth the distribution between classes. There will assuredly be some attrition, but the cream will have risen to the top, and future OL/DL recruiting will proceed without insanely high numbers in subsequent years.

10/24/2016 - 10:29pm Still Early

Not a bad list at all...and I'd take it anyway day. However, I think last year will be more the norm moving forward (depending on how possible early singing periods shake out) in that there are likely numerous guys not currently on the radar that will emerge as we get closer to signing day and 'the board' will look at lot different in Feb than it does today.

06/09/2016 - 12:28pm Bennett a Free Agent

I believe M. Bennett is an UFA after this upcoming season...so sliding Butt in next to Gronk may make a lot of sense.

04/03/2016 - 1:55am Position Preference

When he was first offered, I seem to recall the talk being that he was best suited as an interior lineman.  Has there been any tidbits on which side fo thr LOS the coaches envision startin him out?
