UM fan attendance at MSU

I'm going to try and make it to the MSU game this year. It would be my first UM-MSU game at Spartan Stadium, and I was wondering, how many UM fans do you expect to be in the house? Let's assume we're 7-0 and they're 6-1. Spartan Stadium holds about 75,000. What would you guess? 10,000 Michigan fans? 20,000?

Theres nothing to fear about going to this game. Sure there are a few losers out there but the bulk of them are actually respectable people. Been going for years and never had a problem

I've not made the trip myself, but from what I've heard from others, while East Lansing is definitely a hostile environment for Michigan fans, it's still much tamer than Columbus where we are literally viewed as the enemy.

We need to invade the fuck out of their shitty stadium. I also want our fans to rush their shitty field, even when we win 45-14; just to piss them off.

Well, three times (one time I was in the lower bowl) but to your main point: yes, never again. In '13 I was in the last row which at least afforded me the opportunity to lean against the back wall.  Except it was also raining so it just sucked that much more.

The only worse viewing experience I've encoutered is being in the top rows of the upper deck at Beaver Stadium.  Like watching ants.

I hope after we beat them our team walks to the locker room and our back up kicker goes and grabs Paul Bunyan like its some piece is shit and brings it back to the sideline and throws it in a bag of dirty towels.

M wins in E Lansing 39-13. Refs don't let Harbaugh go for 1 or two. Harbaugh loses his shit providing us the most epic Harbaugh gif ever, then immediately files an official complaint about the referees. Totally ignores Dantonio.

Being part of the Band I got to travel to numerous away games- ND, Purdue, OSU (x2), bowl games, etc., some of them pretty hostile places. The only place I was ever physically attacked (stuff thrown, someone trying to push thru) was at MSU. Fuck them.

Nice thing was we won both times we went- winning sure makes the trip worthwhile....!
