OT- The most beautiful place in the world
So my Mom is from the East Coast and has been to a lot of places. The other day she told me she thought Arcadia Bluffs was the most beautiful place she had ever seen. What do you think? What is/ are the most beautiful places in the world? Places we should visit. (obvs, a full Big House after a nice win, but where else?)
take me to Bolivia.
is the word your're looking for. It's ok to say it, just don't post the picture.
I was thinking of the deep crevasse that is Lucy Pinder's cleavage.
Reminds me of one of the best adult jokes hidden in a kid's movie I've seen. (starts at 0:50 if I didn't get the embed right)
I want to hear more about the So many to choose from part in your post.

but to call it the nicest place in the world is a bit of a stretch
Just in Michigan alone, pictured rocks, mackinaw island, pretty much anywhere north of cadillac and ofcourse Ann Arbor
Had my bachelor party tubing on the Platte, then over to Arts Tavern for a night of alcoholic stupidness! What great times!!!
Driving from Vegas to San Diego makes for a good scenery
Well...depending upon what route you take of course. Turning south on Cima Road road into the Mojave National Preserve will immediately take you through a joshua tree forest far superior to anything in Joshua Tree National Park. It will also give you a proper trajectory befitting your statement.
The sunsets from the caldera on Santorini are incredible. All the Greek islands I've visited are pretty amazing.
Came here to say this... its tough to beat the Greek Isles, especially Santorini
You are blessed indeed. My mom's grandfather is from Patmos, so the wife and I agreed on Greece for our honeymoon. We spent more on the trip than the wedding, which was a decision I'll never regret.
The wedding is for the Bride. The honeymoon is for the Groom.
I'll add Ireland to the list. Pretty much any part of the coast and/or countryside.
Halong Bay, Vietnam is another favorite of mine.
If we're also thinking about impressive "man-made" sites I'd add Angkor Wat--amazing.
I haven't seen nearly enough of this world to have a worthy opinion, but I have been to Arcadia Bluffs and it's by far my favorite golf course. It's just an amazing experience. Beautiful views on every hole and an amazing clubhouse. The bagpiper is a nice touch as well. It'll cost you a pretty penny and you're pretty much guaranteed to putt one off the green and 40 yards back down into the fairway, but it's worth it. You just might want to bring a couple clubs up to the green even if you're putting.
Grand Teton Nat'l Park. No question

"Muskoka's" in northern Ontario (http://www.discovermuskoka.ca/)... I've been up there a hand full of times at this resort (http://clevelandshouse.com/) and it is amazing... its quiet, clean and just flat out peacful... now even in August its 40 degrees or lower in the morning but by mid day its in the 80's and i have been told that there is still ice on the lakes up there until the end of June...
Maui. Went there with my wife several years ago (before kids), and it was absolutely amazing. Lahaina, Wailea, watching the sun rise over the clouds on Mt. Haleakala Other than my honeymoon, it was the best vacation possible.
Unfortunately, there is absolutely no damn way I am flying 8.5 hours with a 3.5 and 1.5 year old.
In the arms of a loving hobo.
I've traveled quite a bit (as a fly fishing guide) to some beautiful places (Alaska, British Columbia, Fiji, Japan, Iceland, Argentina). I live near Yellowstone and Glacier Parks. But the most epic scenery I have ever seen is the South Island of New Zealand. Hands down.
Milford Sound, Fiordland NP

I hate my fear of heights. I just couldn't get myself to do the final stretch at Angel's Landing. The view, though. Spectacular.
I've never been, but it is on my list of places to visit next year.
Point Reyes National Seashore.
Beaver Island, MI is the most beautiful place in the world. It's peaceful, isolated, and pristine!
And you can rent (or could as of several years ago) Geo Trackers to cruise around the island. Great place to get exceptionally drunk.
Peru is a beautiful country. I really think Colca Canyon is pretty underrated when compared to the other sights in Peru.
As far as Perú goes, both the Sacred Valley and the Colca Canyon are great, but the Cordillera Huayhuash and Cordillera Blanca near Huaráz are even more stunning. A bit further north, in Ecuador, there's a spot on a trail in the Andes directly between El Altar (17,500ft.) and Chimborazo (20,500 ft.) that offers views of both and is absolutely unbeatable at sunset.
I have been coast to coast across the US. The Grand Canyon is jaw dropping. The Rockies are beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed waking up and staring at them in Colorado.
However, nothing can beat a beach for me. Give me blue water and white sand anywhere and I am as happy as a human can be.
In the ocean snorkeling or scuba diving is also really gorgeous. You kind of feel like you are in a different, beautiful, alien world while you are down there.
Went with the family last year. I highly suggest.
I heard there were excellent deals to be had there due to the state of their economy.
