OT: Sporting Event Bucket List
This one is pretty straight forward. What remains on your sporting event bucket list? What event do you have to go before your time is up?
For me there are a few MLB stadiums I still have to get to. However, the big one that remaining is the Monaco Grand Prix, forget the racing the party would be the thing (so would having the money to do it properly).
That's a good little list to knock out. I have still to go to a bunch of B1G venues since I've only been to Wisconsin, Illinois, Northwestern and Iowa (and Notre Dame). I've been to Maryland a few times, but the games were WVU, Duke, VA Tech and some other crap.
... Watching a champions league game at Westfalenstadion
Getting season tickets to Camp Nou for a year.
Watching a bullfight (yes, it's cruel, I know) at Las Ventas
Seeing the 100M Olympic Finals Live
Seeing a Calcio Fiorentino (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calcio_Fiorentino)
Seeing a live Bo Taoshi.
Seeing a Sumo Tournament
When I am old and retired, I plan on spending a year in Wolverhampton and going to see every Wolves match home and away for that season. And doing the same for Roma in Rome another year.
I'd also like to see a World Cup match in Detroit. I was only five when the US opened the 94 WC against Switzerland at the Silverdome.
It would also be cool to follow the USMNT or the Azzurri for an entire WC qualifying cycle. I'd like to do that as well.
I saw USA vs Portugal in the '96 Olympics (at RFK - insane game), and Mexico vs Norway in '94 World Cup (a dull draw, also at RFK).
a) UM football National Title game
b) Lions SB title game (lol yea right like that'll ever happen)
c) Arsenal-Tottenham game
d) World Cup title game
e) UM winning at OSU by 56-0 score when both are undefeated
f) Sturgis Bike Rally
g) Illitch finally getting that World Series ring (won't happen either) in game 7 in Comerica in a walk off GS by Cabrera (Verlander gets the W after allowing 3 ER over 9 innings). Tigers win 4-3.
h) Cal Golden Bears surprise everyone and run the table for a National Title in football and basketball in the same year.
I also want to coach my girls lacrosse team in the state final at some point. Been to the elite 8 which was a blast but want to actually see what coaching the finals is like.

Back nine on Sunday at Augusta.
1. A soccer tour of Europe would be nice. I'd really like to see a match in Dortmund.
2. A World Series in Montreal. (First they need to have a team again.)
3. Germany at a WC or Euro.
4. This one's going to sound crazy, and it's also not going to happen, but I still want to see my old high school win a state basketball championship someday. Preferably while my father is still alive (he coached there).
The Rose Bowl
The Iron Bowl
Any night game at Death Valley, but preferably against an Alabama type.
A bull fight (I'm making my fiance go to one with me when we go to Spain on our honeymoon)
-A game at A&M. Not a fan, but I would want to see what the experience is like.
-A game at Notre Dame. Yeah, yeah, I know, but still, it's Notre Dame.
-Army-Navy game. Trying to head down to the one this December with my Dad.
Michigan/Rutgers football game in the dirty jers
Intense rivalry between the winningest program of all-time and the team who played in the first ever college football game. Sports doesn't get better than this folks.
2) I want to walk, not play, at Augusta

1. Seeing Michigan football at every B1G home stadium
2. Seeing the Red Wings play at every NHL arena (while collecting teams jerseys)
I took my wife to the ladies figure skating Worlds when Michelle Kwan won it. It was a pretty cool event to see in person.
Soccer games: Liverpool at Man Utd; Lazio/Roma or AC Milan/Inter; Bayern at Ballspielverein Borussia 09 e.V. Dortmund; Millwall/West Ham (LOL); Celtic/Rangers
Cricket World Cup and Rugby World Cup would be nice. Olympic swimming, rowing, track.

as it looks like they are going to rip up the lane after this year I have been debating going to the final NLD. Just to sit in the shelf one last time to sing “We’re the Shelf Side, we’re the Shelf Side, we’re the Shelf Side Tott-en-ham!” until the stewards force us out . More likely I will be at some midseason match that syncs up wth a champions league group stage match
I just need to sit rinkside at a Wings game. I dont care who against, home or away (well hopefully not in a Little Caesers Arena...). I just really want to be right there against the boards. Banging the glass. Yelling at Canadians.
That is all.
I get choked up just watching it on TV.
Breakfast at Wimbledon would be another.
