OT: 2016 NFL Draft Day 2 open thread

Submitted by Magnus on

The second day of the 2016 NFL Draft is under way. What kinds of crazy things will happen tonight?

Two guys with injury question marks are already off the board. Jaylon Smith (Notre Dame) was picked by the Cowboys, and Myles Jack (UCLA) went to the Jaguars.

yeah, there's got to be more to this than his personality, unless there's some dirt that we are unaware of. a handful of "character issue" guys have already been drafted. I don't think Cook is "not very good" like you say, in fact he was great at the college level... but maybe scouts don't think his skillset will translate to the next level? are there concerns about his shoulder?

Thought Willie would have been selected by now. Bet he's wishing he stayed one more year considering the DL depth of this class

Cook in the 3rd round makes sense. He's a good QB, and could be a starter in the NFL if his accuracy downfield stays reasonably high (the one part of his game people seemed to universally agree was strong for him in college). I'd take a flier on him over a couple of other guys now.

Texans just took Braxton Miller, their second reciever of the draft. Wonder when Henry and Glasgow will go. I think Henry will go tonight but not Glasgow

not that the draft is the final say but cook's fall shows how far off the 'experts' can be. Before we played msu i called him a potential first pick FWIW...

this might be the biggest fall of any pick I can remember.

Now Cody Kessler. I can't wait to the head the story about what happened with Conner Cook. There is no way we know everything with how fall he has fallen.
