I liked this one:

"Sixty-five teams are going to have the same experience...

…but this will be the hardest one to explain"

68 teams - 1 champion - 1 spartan team = 66 teams. Sparties can't even mathematically fail correctly.

The moment the final buzzer went, I realized that one of my brackets was in a pool with a $30 entry fee and that was a bracket where - and I don't know what came over me - I had Michigan State going rather deep in the tournament. That bracket is likely in tatters now.

That slight financial loss was also totally worth it.

Well, App State isn't the biggest either by the numbers—it's the sixth-biggest—but try telling anyone that.

It's the circumstances that matter. Since a 1 seed has never lost, and since no 2 seed has ever been as widely expected to win it all as State, this upset is the biggest.

of great things.

Let's beat ND tonight - those Sparties could use some company.

Upon telling my 3 year old this morning that UM is playing ND tonight, he said, "Boo Irish, go Blue!"

I am so glad this happened. MSU loses day one of their tournament run and their football team will not be very good this year. Oh, the joy. Cannot wait to beat them in October.

Our game is coming up, and since I'm a Buddhist, and strongly believe in Karma I'm trying as hard as I can to refrain from smiling. Good game! Go Blue!!

kudos to MTSU; came to play, got off to a great start and never let up. Sparty was looking down the road, and could never flip the switch. They got about 15% of the 50/50 balls
