Navy's Keenan Reynolds breaks Denard's record (rushing yards for a QB)
Just did it midway through the 3rd quarter. If it was going to go down, couldn't have been to a better person and player.
Congrats to Keenan.
With his 48 yard run, Keenan Reynolds now has the most career rush yards by a QB in FBS history with 4,518 yards.

Now that I think about it... DRob didn't play much freshman year... Actually the most noteworthy thing I remember from his freshman year was the INT against Iowa after Tate went out.
Probably could have redshirted easily.

Good point. I always confuse UConn as Denard's first game.

After Denard in the depth chart was Nick Sheridan and then David Cone. He'd have burned it in the Iowa game when Tate was hurt and we still had a chance to win.
Besides, Denard ended up playing in all 12 games.

I know you're joking, but there were quite a few WVU fans, who were pissed at the circumstances of Denard breaking the record

Well....they have a point I suppose?!

West Virginia fans have to be the most abrasive, trolling, butthurt fans out there. Can't stand them.

If I'm not mistaken, he started playing midway through 2012. I think at Central Michigan may have been his first full game.

Glad it happened versus Narduzzi.
Needed 200 more attempts to do it.
Congrats to him anyways.

Just because he is an officer that does not mean he is going to go be Chesty Puller. More than likely he'll be an attaché or something along those lines.

December 28th, 2015 at 5:03 PM ^
Due to the QB depth issues that went on for years and are finally being corrected, Denard's as a backup QB in 2009 kept him from a lot more opportunities and yards.

You could see the evidence of that during the 2009 season. I remember watching various plays develop and Tate's inability to just carry out the play design ended up botching what were well designed plays.
I know he was praised for his improtu play, but that same improtu play ended up fucking up a lot of potential plays that were going for TDs.
