Logos on polos or hoodies(if the weather permits it) are acceptable. Jerseys decidely not.
If he wants to be taken seriously he should wear a shirt and khakis.

But this is hardly the time to look like a teenage fanboy.
This could be the very beginning of a big-kid job. You need to make the adjustment.

My grandfather the haberdasher had two sayings:
1) Clothes make the man.
2) A well-dressed man's clothes are never noticed.

Uhhh...it's 11:30 on a Friday night, and we're all here on a forum discussing what an 18 year old should wear to the press box.

WD, based on your description of the situation and opportunity, I seriously doubt anyone will give two shits if you wear the Michigan gear. If you like it, wear it. If this is truly a test run for a cool job, they aren't going to disqualify you for wearing Michigan stuff, and will judge you on your performance/ enthusiasm / apptitude for the gig.

forgive you as long as your jersey has the right shade of maize, because that's what truly matters.

Don Johnson look with the all important loafers without socks. Not sure how anyone can go wrong with that look.

I used to like jerseys too. Now I don't see a point unless I'm also wearing shoulder pads. Get some khakis and a nicer shirt, if you have an M polo or something. It won't kill you for one game and will make a good impression on everyone.

Jerseys are never a good idea past the age of 12. It's another man's workshirt. Leave it behind.

Apparently you didn't read the post above by 4EverBlueGirl who is wearing one to bed! TOUCHDOWN!!!!

Totally agree. And the opposite holds true. Look like a doofus, and you'll be treated accordingly.
September 18th, 2015 at 10:40 PM ^
Good advice even for this. Remember, you can always bring the Jersey and change when you go to your seat. Be a part of the tribe in the press box, then join the tribe in the bowl.
And have lots of fun!

Right on.
