Great throwing motion and compact throws that hit the WR's in stride, great long ball, can run with the ball, O'Korn will have some challengers but I think he will be our QB next yhear and if he was eligible, he would be starting this year.

Toks Akinbirade. Michigan was one of his earlier offers, and it appeared the interest was mutual, but Davis and Falcon beat him to it before much more could happen in his recruitment. I was a big fan of his junior film...seems to have a good combo of size and speed. Rated as an 86, 3 star on 24/7. I think Iowa got a pretty good one

2016 - Jr. O'Korn
2017 - Sr. O'Korn
2018 - RS Jr. Gentry
2019 - RS Sr. Gentry
2020 - RS Sr. Peters?

Guess it depends on how O'Korn and Gentry do, it's going to be an interesting QB competition. Perfect world would be for either or both of them to declare early because they were awesome, opening up '19 for Peters.

I feel pretty good about O'Korn next year.  Gentry I'll have to see in action before committing to the idea that he's going to be a big star for us - anxious to see how he looks in the spring.

Peters is going to be a star here before it's all said and done though.  He has skills and a level of polish you don't see out of many high school QBs.

I'm very curious to see how Peters game transitions to the collegiate level. He's so calm and collected in the pocket. Hope he can come in with that same poise and compete next year.

We should have won that game and Utah didn't impress me but we still lost. Says more about us, IMO. As for Peters: kid looks crazy legit. Not perfect and I'm not saying it's who he is but Luck was also a highly but not #1 ranked QB with similar skills. IIRC, Peters was considered our #3 option (or lower) but we may be lucky that guys we had higher chose elsewhere. Peters looks very very good.
