I was not as lucky as Nik, my first car was not a brand new Porsche. Mine was a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan mini-van - absolute chick magnet. What was your first car?

1977 Mercury Monarch (acquired summer of '87 prior to junior year of HS). Baby blue with a yellow door, a red hood, and a fair amount of rust around the edges. Ugliest car in the history of the world, but could spin some amazing donuts in the snow.

She tried and tried and could not get the hang of a manual transmission. It was on a 1985 Mustang 4 cylander. My parents ended up selling it and bought her the 1973 Dodge Dart Swinger as a junker.

First car was the dreaded 1977 Chevy Chevette, 4-speed manual. Paid like $600 for it as it hardly ran and heater did not work. For some reason at 16 years old it didn't bother me too much.
