The entire text of The Victors on a 12 inch diameter sticker. Good players will have 6 inches of sticker thickness for extra padding by the OSU game.

If we have to have them, a smaller version of the original would be best. But none is better. Harbaugh uber alles and all that, but why gum up the most iconic helmet in football? That said, this issue is very low on my list of concerns. Very low indeed. (If there was no precedent from the Bo era, I'd probably care more.)

I'm a minimalist ... a small maize circle, 3/8" or 1/2".  Just a maize circle.

More than the design, what I'm curious about is the criteria for getting a sticker.  I hope they are somewhat rare, and I hope anyone with enough stickers to really notice them is a true bad-ass.

It's difficult for me to speak to something over which we wouldn't have any control regardless. I guess my broader concern is what they would look like in relation to the helmet itself. As Jerry Hinnen over at CBS said in an article about this yesterday, the winged helmet is "a stone-cold classic" and I think care should be taken with both the design and the application to avoid creating clutter on the helmet. I never had strong feelings on the return of stickers, but I would like them to consider aesthetics somewhat since it is happening now.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

but in seriousness, I wouldn't mind seeing wolverine slashmarks. . . If DB were still here, he'd do it and try to tie it in with Monster beverage. . .

It will probably be a wolverine related sticker or an item that serves as a motivational thing for the team. At Stanford they aren't S's, Trees, or Cardinals - they're axe blades. Could be something we don't know of until they're on our helmets

But of we MUST have them I don't care if they are Wolverbears, timy block Ms, tiny foootballs, yellow dots or anything else, as long as they are small.  Stanford under JH had the maximum size.

Back in the dark ages of the mid 60s we had stickers.  But they were graded.  Every time you got five bars the bars were replaced with a tomahawk.  That way you could tell that the player did well without messing with the helmet too much.

Big, guady, and intimidating. Something to to display on the back of the helmet with pride, just as the wings are displayed on the front with pride. Not something to hide away as discreeet itty bitty 'M's, which just screams timidity with thier tiny voices.

If you are going to do it, go all out. Football is not a f@cking beauty contest.
