The Korn Has Landed! QB Transfer John O'Korn is now in town

Try not to make too many Korn-y jokes.

Just touched down in Detroit. First time seeing snow in 4 years. Gonna be a great weekend! #GoBlue

Seriously, though. I'm excited to see what this kid can do once he's eligible.

Maybe no one is a 5*, but this many decent guys under a QB coach like Harbaugh should get you someone very good at worst I would imagine

The addition of O'Korn and Gentry is a very pleasant surprise

Well, first and foremost, welcome to Michigan and the state of Michigan, John O'Korn. Sorry the late winter weather isn't more friendly.

On the upside (maybe), he'll get the chance to see snow as it happens tonight and into tomorrow, rather than what has been sitting and becoming stale on the ground for weeks now. Some introduction indeed. Glad he's here all the same though.

There will be a boatload of competing going on at the QB position, which is good. That's been a big part of our downfall these past few years. Reps will take care of themselves, as the cream rises to the top, that's where the bulk of the reps will go

So is he in town just for a visit i take it?   I'm assuming he's not taking part in Spring Practice or else he'd have been enrolled in school a month ago.   Most likely he comes to campus in the summer like the freshman do?

I find it funny how every time we get another QB someone guanantees that QB will be the starter from day one and is clearly the best on the roster. You would have thought Shane Morris was the second coming of Christ on here back in 2012.

Id been wondering, how can people say Speight is better? I mean we only saw him in spring practice. Where he struggled more than Morris. So unless people are in practices watching the QB's, what exactly are they basing this on? I've never heard of Hoke or his staff saying one player is better than another.

for Morris and Speight!  If either don't look that good, I could see Malzone or Gentry possibly starting as Freshman! It will be interesting to see who comes out of spring practice ahead of the pack and if they improve through the summer into camp. I have a hunch that Harbaugh may go with Malzone as the surprise Freshman starter. Just like Bo did with Rick Leach in '75, when everyone thought senior QB Mark Elzinga would start the 75 season. Though Leach was one of the top High School QB in the nation when he played at Flint.
