Drake Johnson was "a high recruit" and we've "been waiting for him to start"? Try we stole him from the clutches of DII schools and thought he was going to be 5th string his whole career.

But you were real close

At this juncture in the game, Trevor Siemian is Northwestern's rushing leader, but of course it is early yet and this has been a weird year all around anyway.

Nice punt by Hagerup. A yard or two shaved off that and we're in easy safety territory there with the chance to go up 2-0 early.

From here:

"Hagerup in fact already holds the record for season punting average; his 33 punts as a junior averaged 45 yards a pop, tied with Monte Robbins (1987) and a half-yard in front of the Space Emperor Zoltan Mesko (2009) himself. Then he's fourth on the list as well for his freshman year."

I think the main difference is that Hagerup seems far more prone to mistakes. I can't recall Zoltan ever dropping a snap or shanking punts.

You never know if Hagerup will punt it 60 yards or 30, but I wouldn't bet on him doing the same thing twice in a row
