Corum, Wilson, Johnson, and McCarthy.  A lot of M fans in Indy.

Corum just ran 4.53&4.58/40.  Seems a bit slower than expected?

Yeah but the gist i got from the story was that because he couldn't enroll, Xavier was left out to dry... Which to me is insane. Even if he doesn't enroll, surely we can buy him a cheeseburger. Oh wait. Only Lambos, hookers and blow.

Anyway, we screwed that it up, it appears. But it worked out

Adjusted down to 4.39 for official time.

Based on his dropping 2 balls in the Gauntlet and running out of bounds, it seems he might be disappointed with that. Imagine being disappointed at only running a 4.39.

I wish we could somewhat objectively rate our own today.

Roman is small so he needed to have an exceptional 40 time and he didn’t.  He also needed to showcase his hands And he didn’t.   Lastly he needed to demonstrate his route running ability and he unfortunately ran out of bounds.

Love Roman but as much as Mickey improved his draft stock yesterday Roman hurts his.  That’s just a fact guys and the fact that he was instrumental in our winning a national championship doesn’t change that.

Roman had the 6th fastest 40 of all WRs lol. I’m sure Roman was disappointed in his time (we know what his goal was) but saying a 4.39 isn’t exceptional is ridiculous. That’s an elite 40. Overall it wasn’t his best day but he did a lot of great things as well. I’d put it as a B performance. Many of the analysts I’ve heard post combine have had nothing but great things to say about Roman. He had a solid day.

Gotta say I don't buy the Xavier Worthy 40 time.  Kid is fast but all-time? Damn.  I'm being mostly facetious but truly, who the hell saw that coming?!

Joe Milton showed off the arm strength with a perfect 70 yarder. Someone is going to reach and draft him high, like Anthony Richardson.

Blake Corum elevated his stock this combine. He did what he needed to do in the testing and didn't fall flat anywhere.

Then I read he was really impressive in the drills portion of the combine. He looked smooth running routes and snagging throws out of the air. Then his footwork through the LoS really impressed scouts. With this RB class I think Blake may have just made himself a 3rd rounder.
