01/04/2018 - 2:23pm I'm less optimistic on McDoom

I'm less optimistic on McDoom but i'm willing to wait one more year before I call him trash. I really thing we couldhave used him better. Had all these creative plays for him in year 1, then in year 2 nothing.

01/04/2018 - 2:20pm We'll see

The main reason I disagree is that wide receivers take time to develop. I think us as fans tend to think guys should just come in and be great but thats not usually the case. This was his first year starting as a true sophmore. For example Jehu Chesson's redshirt sophmore year he had 14 catches for 154 yards...2 years later he was an NFL draft pick. Def not saying crawford will be that but lets not write people off until at least their 3rd season. If he doesnt produce next year he will certainly be passed by all the guys in the class behind him.

10/12/2017 - 9:31am Yea i'm not sure you know

Yea i'm not sure you know what you're talking about. Its very rare that a tackle will be able to block that guy head up on the backside of a play (hence why they are taught to cut, and which he attempted to do lol). This was not one of those situations. If Cole does somehow get his hands on him it will 100% be a hold. Backer had already started pursuing, Cole wasnt anywhere close to being squared up to block him into next tuesday lol.

10/12/2017 - 7:40am Crawford hasnt returned a

Crawford hasnt returned a kick since Air Force. Ambry has been the only one back there. Announcers keep lazily saying its Crawford. The funny thing ive noticed the last few games is  when Ambry does well we praise Ambry and when he has a bad return the fan base blames it on Crawford smh

10/11/2017 - 1:06am Not Cole's fault

Thats just a good play by the oustside backer. Thats one of the tougest blocks to make as a backside tackle. Best case scenario is if the backer hesitates enough so Cole can get there and cut his left leg. Cole took the correct angle but just didnt have a chance.

09/24/2017 - 5:01am I'm pretty sure that was

I'm pretty sure that was ambry as well. Kekoa had the white calf sleeves on, ambry had just white socks

09/16/2017 - 12:34pm Devin Bush is fast lol

Jesus Devin Bush is fast lol

09/06/2017 - 8:18pm Every offense is different

Every offense is different but generally if a pass play was called in the huddle he doesn't need to change the projection or speak to the lineman. He can just see the coverage look the the receivers and give them a different route. If a run play was called and he wanted to audible he will yell out a "kill" word. It could be anything, but it lets the line know that the current play is now dead. in a huddle play calls can be very long but when you're audibling the play name is very short or it's a number and color. (Depends on the team but where I played the color was run/pass and the number was the play.) That way he can relay the new play quickly to everyone before the snap and everyone is on the same page. Hope that helps.

09/03/2017 - 12:48pm pretty sure i saw Ross on

pretty sure i saw Ross on kickoff coverage.

09/02/2017 - 11:31am 12 yard slant to Kekoa

12 yard slant to Kekoa Crawford

09/02/2017 - 11:30am Jeter didnt travel. I don't

Jeter didnt travel. I don't believe Vilain traveled either. Have no idea about Walker, doesnt look good though.

08/30/2017 - 11:02pm 41-20

41-20 Michigan

08/30/2017 - 10:59pm lol on a serious note though

lol on a serious note though Donovan Jeter didnt travel and from the looks of Luiji Vilain's last tweet I dont beilieve he traveled either. Defensive line depth will be interesting on saturday

08/30/2017 - 8:08pm Jeter had a brace on his knee

Jeter had a brace on his knee a few days ago on his snapchat. Have no idea how serious it is though

08/30/2017 - 6:03pm Peoples-Jones should be

Peoples-Jones should be listed next to Black

08/30/2017 - 2:13pm Donovan Jeter

Not sure if its been posted on the board but Donovan Jeter has been seen with a brace on his leg per his snapchat. Not sure how severe the injury is but I suspect hes out for the Florida game.

08/08/2017 - 12:46am The posters above were pretty

The posters above were pretty spot on. I played in football in college, first 3 weeks of camp are all self install. You basically go through the entire playbook from start to finish. Each day you get 10-15 new plays and you build off of it. Usually there will be 2 or 3 full contact scrimages during that time that will determine playing time/dept chart. Week 3, your 1st/ 2nd team is now for the most part set, and the 3rd/4th stringers are now your scouts. Youre still installing some of your plabook but everything you run and practice is against "floridas defense/offense now. The last week you run your regular season routine. Basically you start working specifically on game one 2 weeks before, but the coaches have had their gameplan since the spring. And the older guys have already been given film of florida to watch over the summer.

08/08/2017 - 12:31am He said on twitter a few days

He said on twitter a few days ago hes playing 3 tech. So that probably isnt permanent. Probably means more that hes the 5th or 6th lineman right now and hes ahead of the other true WDE (Vilain, Kwity)

08/06/2017 - 6:20pm Matt Dudek has the full video

Matt Dudek has the full video on his twitter where you get to see 7-8 more 1 on 1 reps. I don't know how to put the video on here but his twitter handle is @Thee_Matty_D

08/04/2017 - 12:16pm you're right lol

you're right lol

08/04/2017 - 2:28am So we lost 2 the 3 games this

So we lost 3 games this year because of talent? or because we just didnt execute? Idk what game you watched but Ohio state didnt look more talented than us., neither did FSU and especially not Iowa. All those games were there for the taking.

Clemson didnt seem to need to recruit at that level either to smoke Ohio State and beat Bama for a national title. Having a top 10 class every year gives you more than enough talent to win a championship.

08/03/2017 - 4:51pm This is pretty spot on

This is pretty spot on

08/03/2017 - 4:15pm Back away from the ledge everyone

Michigan will probably finish with another top 10 class and everyone is complaining. Besides his transition class when he first got here Harbaugh has proven to be an excellent recruiter. I don't understand why people are doubting him now. He's not taking anymore 3 stars than he has before. 50% of the 2016 class was 3 stars 14/28. 30% of last year were 3 stars 9/30. This year will probably be around 30 to 35%. We plan to take 20-22 so expect 1-3 more of these underrated guys but the majority of the class will be 4 stars. We're off to a great start in 2019 as well. Everyone needs to relax.

Yes I would love to recruit at OSU and Bamas level but nobody else is, they are in a tier by themselves right now. Just know that we are recruting at a high enough level to win and thats all that matters. Until Harbaugh shows us that his recruting strategy isn't working we have no reason not to trust his judgment.

08/03/2017 - 12:12pm Clemson just won and we have

Clemson just won and we have out recriuted them the last 2 years and currently have a similar class for 2018

08/03/2017 - 1:18am I changed it to FSU, and your argument still isn't very good

I left out avg rank because I inlcuded their national ranking which takes into account the amount of players. We have brought in 25 more players in during that time I would hope that their avg. rating would be higher. But if you really want to know ours is .9038 and clemsons is .9151 which really isnt that significant considering how many more guys we have brought in.

2016

Florida State: 26 (8 commits 3 star or lower - 31%) 3rd ranked class

2017

Florida State: 24 (10 commits 3 star or lower - 42%) 6th ranked class

2018

Florida State: 17 (8 commits 3 star or lower - 47%) 9th ranked

I don't know what to tell you, we are recruting at an elite level. Bama and Ohio State are in a class of their own right now and there is a huge gap. Yes i would love for us to get there eventually but we are right there in the next tier. You are misinformed trying to say that Clemson and Florida State are recruiting better than us

From 2016 to now

Michigan: 71 commits, 44 4 stars or higher, avg rank: .9038

Florida State: 67 commits, 41 4 stars or higher, avg rank: .9063

Clemson: 46 commits, 29 4 stars or higher, avg rank: .9151

If florida state is the level you want us to recruit at we dont have to go very far, just have to up our avg rating .0025 lol.

08/02/2017 - 11:03pm We have recruited better than Clemson...

2016

Clemson: 21 commits (9 commits 3 star or lower - 43% of class) ranked 11th in the nation

Michigan: 28 commits (14 commits 3 star or lower - 50% of class) ranked 8th in the nation

2017

Clemson: 14 commits (4 commits 3 star or lower - 29% of class) ranked 16th in the nation

Michigan: 30 commits (9 commits 3 star or lower - 30% of class) ranked 4th in the nation

2018 so far

Clemson:11 commits (4 commits 3 star or lower - 36% of class) currently ranked 14th

Michigan: 13 commits (4 commits 3 star or lower - 31% of class) currently ranked 15th

God I can't wait for the day where we can recruit on Clemsons level and not take so many 3 stars. I hope we can get as many 4 and 5 stars as them. /s Since Harbaugh has brought in full classes we have out recruited clemson and brought in more 4/5 stars. We are doing just fine.

08/02/2017 - 8:49pm 30% of the 2017 class was 3

30% of the 2017 class was 3 stars or less (9/30) 4th ranked class in the nation

50% of the 2016 class were 3 stars or less (14/28) 8th ranked class in the nation

And yes i know this class will be smaller than those 2 but Harbaugh has clearly shown that he doesnt mind taking underated 3 star recruits (either the top players in small states, of overlooked guys in hotbed states). This class will probably hit around 20-22 and we'll probably once again have about 30% 3 stars and finish with a top 10 class. Everyone needs to relax.

08/02/2017 - 6:34pm The snapchat videos from

The snapchat videos from practice show that Nick Eubanks has changed his number from 18 to 82. I had forgot that him and Brandon Peters had the same number, looks like Peters won that battle.

07/31/2017 - 12:27pm Lol i agree, everyone likes

Lol i agree, everyone likes the "shiny new toys" freshaman and completely forgets about the sophmores. If they werent starters last year, they will autmatically get passed up by the new freshman.

07/31/2017 - 11:43am Kekoa Crawford

He has the best combination of experience and talent on the roster right now at WR. Freshman wide receivers typically don't play well due to knowing the playbook, and being able to recognize coverages and convert routes. He was one of our best recruits last year, and he played well in his limited snaps.Something really bad would have to happen for us to trot not 1 but 2 true freshman out there for game 1. I just don't see it, which is Crawford is a lock. Sure maybe down the road, when the freshman get up to speed they could possibly overtake him but as of right now he's got a big leg up on the outside wr position.

07/31/2017 - 11:06am QB: Speight - An all big 10

QB: Speight - An all big 10 QB last year in his first full year starting under Harbaugh and everybody wants him replaced already lol. Lets see him grow and get better and build off of last season. Peters will get plenty of work in the blowouts this year.

C: Kugler  - this is Kuglers last shot, and I think he showed in spring ball that he knows his back is against the wall.  Day 1 starter will be him and Ruiz will be his backup, but honestly 1 or 2 bad games will put him on the bench so he shouldnt get too comfortable.

RT: ???? I guess I'll go with Runyon with Stueber being a close runner up. I honestly have no clue, but between JBB. Runyon, and the 3 freshman they all have their issues. I think Stueber is the most ready to jump in and play right now out of the freshman. But Runyon has been here and made and impression on the coaching staff in the spring. So i think he keeps the job up until day 1 and then we'll see how he does. This spot will probably be written in pencil all year

CBs: Hill and Long - As much that it sucks that they have both missed time over the last season and the spring they are still our 2 most talented corners right now. I think Washington really made a move in the spring to get his name in the conversation. So i can see him rotating in like jeremy clark did as a 3rd co starter on the outside. Hill probably slides down to the slot when we are in nickel and Washington would be on the outside with Long.

WRs: Crawford and DPJ- Crawford is a lock period. Tbh DPJ and Black will both play a lot. Black is currently penciled in as the starter but i think DPJ has a healthy summer and wins the "spot" back even though Black will play a ton.

I believe it's live streaming on BTN2GO

04/12/2017 - 3:17pm Harbaugh played almost all

Harbaugh played almost all the freshman against hawaii but the majority of their playing time got cut off around the 3rd game which insured that they could apply for a medical hardship if needed. From what we know 13 freshman played over 30%. 10 those 13 are projected starters right now. the remaining 3 were N. Johnson, Devil Gill, and Mbem-Bosse. Harbaugh had a strategy an knew what he was doing in terms of which guys played on which didnt.

04/12/2017 - 12:35pm Brown has said that they are

Brown has said that they are each others backups so they pretty much interchangebale.

04/12/2017 - 12:26pm Jeter lost the battle and is

Jeter lost the battle and is now wearing #95. Carlo won the #2

04/05/2017 - 1:03am Yes Hudson is playing viper

Yes Hudson is playing viper right now in the spring lol. Don Brown has said they will both play both spots. Metullus confirmed that on video as well as saying he's playing safety so he can learn the position because he knows all the viper stuff already. It's not an alternative scenario lol

04/05/2017 - 12:30am Viper Battle

Metellus said in a video that he's repping safety now because he did it during the season so they want Hudson to take all the viper reps now. Also said he prefers Viper over safety because he likes to hit. Sounds like the coaches want to see who fits best where. Both are interchangeable but if I had to put money on it I think Hudson is at safety and Metellus at viper on opening day. Hopefully Woods or JKP impress during the spring because the safety depth is concerning.

03/16/2017 - 8:41pm Read on michigan insider that

Read on michigan insider that Metellus is the 1st viper and 3rd safety and Hudson is starting at safety right now and is also the 2nd string viper. They are both interchangeble for the most part right now.

08/26/2016 - 11:41am Played

All through high school and 6 years in college at the a few D1AA schools. Had a tryout with the lions but gave it up after I was cut. It amazing being a good enough player to play in college but then you go practice with the guys in the league and it's a whole different level. I knew after rookie mini camp it was time to hang it up. Coached 1 year of highschool then changed professions. Still miss playing to this day though.

02/16/2016 - 10:44pm On twitter he asked a guy to

On twitter he asked a guy to make an edit of him in #8 Not sure what that means for TW

02/15/2016 - 5:57pm Did some digging on twitter

A handful of the freshman have already annouced their jersey numbers:

RB Kareem Walker #6

QB Brandon Peters #18

WR Kekoa Crawford #3

LB Devin Bush #11

WR Eddie McDoom #13

WR Ahmir Mitchell #2

LB Elysee Mbem-Bosse #1

S Khaleke Hudson #7

TE Sean McKeon #84

RB Kingston Davis #23

I am going to go ahead and assume Rashan Gary will be #3 as well
