Damn- I was crying during some of the pre-game activities all around Southern Cal the last few days. 

Both my parents went to Michigan and I literally grew up drinking out of a Michigan baby bottle. My dad passed away in August after a long illness. Emotionally, I've been doing fine with it for the most part.  It's just during weekends  and games like this one, I start missing being able to talk about the Wolverines him. (The Lions run also hurts).   I also think about so many of my Michigan friends who are no longer with us to enjoy this run.  I was particularly stoked to get a photo with Carl Grapentine, who my dad absolutely loved for both his dedication to the Michigan Marching Band as well as classical music. 

Enough with the sappy stuff.  Let's go get a National Championship!  IT'S GREAT TO BE A MICHIGAN WOLVERINE!  GO BLUE!!!!
