Meh. Go Blue
November 12th, 2022 at 1:23 PM ^
Beat Nebraska.
November 12th, 2022 at 8:42 PM ^
42-27 would have happened in any conditions.
November 12th, 2022 at 12:00 PM ^
Living here in Ohio, your most accurate weather forecast is going to be from weather.com three days out. Anything further out than that is most likely going to be wrong.
November 12th, 2022 at 12:43 PM ^
Agreed. I live west of Toledo and the flurries they called for yesterday has now covered the grass completely. Nothing short of rain and or wind should change the outcome of the game.
November 12th, 2022 at 12:04 PM ^
The only weather forecaster I trust is MGoWeather.
November 12th, 2022 at 12:05 PM ^
Yeah. Weather forecasts 14 days out are about as useful as preseason top-25 rankings
November 12th, 2022 at 12:52 PM ^
Nice.
November 12th, 2022 at 8:00 PM ^
75 and sunny confirmed!
November 12th, 2022 at 12:06 PM ^
We are going to pound them out regardless. They have to come up with a different excuse this year.
November 12th, 2022 at 12:13 PM ^
The weather is immaterial. We are a better team in all three phases (well, four if you include coaching.)
November 12th, 2022 at 12:22 PM ^
It material to the pundits making a built in excuse for oHIO to make the cfp even if they drop one to Michigan.
November 12th, 2022 at 2:03 PM ^
Good. I’d love a chance to clap them twice.
November 14th, 2022 at 3:16 PM ^
clap clap clap
November 12th, 2022 at 12:13 PM ^
ryan 'hair club for men' day, upon reading the forecast....
November 12th, 2022 at 12:55 PM ^
It literally is the worst dye job ever. The beard is just epically bad.
November 12th, 2022 at 12:19 PM ^
Moar Wind!
November 12th, 2022 at 12:25 PM ^
it’s the midwest. weather is accurate a couple days out and that’s about it
November 12th, 2022 at 12:36 PM ^
The most ideal situation is for the weather to be nice and sunny so when Michigan takes OSU behind the Barn and slaughters them, the excuse of weather won't be a factor for the mentally ill OSU fans out there.
November 12th, 2022 at 12:41 PM ^
they're looking pretty strong in the snow so far today, let's not put too much on that. But I guess Indiana is just outrageously bad?
November 12th, 2022 at 1:39 PM ^
Well, they’re not tied with IU at the half so…
November 12th, 2022 at 12:42 PM ^
A lot could still change but the current weather forecast is favoring an OSU passing game.
November 12th, 2022 at 12:48 PM ^
Hopefully the players aren't as overconfident as the board.
I believe M can and should win but it's nothing close to a forgone conclusion, regardless of the weather.
November 12th, 2022 at 1:04 PM ^
It will change
I’m more worried about the ref forecast
November 12th, 2022 at 1:23 PM ^
If you are counting on the weather you’ve already lost.
November 12th, 2022 at 3:32 PM ^
Amen. The tired, overplayed weather narrative is laughable. Michigan is more run heavy and less impacted by 40 mph winds, but asserting OSU can’t play in bad weather is simply incorrect and misguided.
November 12th, 2022 at 1:26 PM ^
The current GFS model shows an unseasonably warm storm coming up from the south which would generate rain and 70 for the game. It looks like a good deal of rain. This is followed by a strong cold front and 20’s the day after the game.
Of course this is 13 days out. So the storm and front could move a few days either direction, or not happen at all. Really need to wait until next Sunday for a more reliable forecast.
November 12th, 2022 at 1:28 PM ^
14 days? I'm happy if the weather is right 3 hours from now.
November 12th, 2022 at 1:43 PM ^
Guarantee it will be different
November 12th, 2022 at 1:29 PM ^
I am in Metro Detroit, but I tend to run with the NWS site and the detailed discussion, which usually gives you the next 72-96 hours at best. The main forecast is usually a 7-day interval. Not that any of it really matters in November in the Great Lakes, as it was 75 here on Tuesday and it is snowing at the moment.
November 12th, 2022 at 1:30 PM ^
You really gotta feel for wimsatt after playing is last week, he gets a JV team to work against. Bravo
November 12th, 2022 at 2:05 PM ^
Long term forecasts are just a summary of averages for that part of the month. Anything past a 72-hour window means nothing in most cases. Long term models have improved greatly over the last decade, but there's still a good reason the four or so "main" forecast models are often not even in agreement. Anyways, there's a drive into deep left field by Castellanos, it will be a home run. And so that'll make it a 4–0 ballgame.
November 12th, 2022 at 2:06 PM ^
Looks like they'll also be without Miyan Williams as well.....
November 12th, 2022 at 2:21 PM ^
Challenge: Track that forecast each day until it becomes the next day forecast. You'll be amazed on how much it could or will change day on day. Especially this time of year. You'll see 13 different forecast between now and then.
November 12th, 2022 at 2:46 PM ^
lol. Just mysteriously warms up eh?
November 12th, 2022 at 2:54 PM ^
I hope it's 70 and sunny. No excuses.
Praying for bad weather feels a lot like the posters who spend time obsessing alternate ways to back our way into the CFP.
Just fucking beat them. In their own house.
November 12th, 2022 at 5:46 PM ^
No word on the rumor msu players were seen assaulting the kid in the wheelchair just minutes later.
November 14th, 2022 at 6:17 AM ^
I could give two shits about the weather, that’s an OSU excuse while they pass for nearly 400 yds. I care if Knowles can actually come up with a plan that neutralizes Corum and JJ actually has to win the game. I also have my doubts that our receivers if can get open to give JJ a chance. Use 4 TE if we have to, dink and dunk, whatever works. If they stack the box use quick hits and jet sweeps. Gattis had a great gameplan last year and I hope we can come up with something similar.
