Nice, great job Maryland.  You’re up Wiscy.  But seriously, fuck all those teams.  Go Blue!

1) I really wish Beilein didn’t gift Penn State those 3 points; 2) Poole better get out of this slump that he’s been in for more than a month or the team’s not gonna do much in March. Singlehandedly ended Michigan’s rally with back-to-back awful 3s.

And look...they’re carrying the refs off on their shoulders! We played like shit, but we still would have won with a fairly called game. Just fucking painful.

@Maryland and @Minnesota are Ls. Nothing on offense will suggest anything different right now.

Still have to play MSU twice. We’d be lucky to win the conference

STFU. PSU is terrible. They beat a 2-loss team ranked 6. That is worthy of rushing the court. I remember when UM students rushed the court when our team was shitty and they beat a number 15 team. It was a long time ago, but it happened. We lost. We’re the bunch of losers. Take the loss, learn from it, and move on. We’re still in first place. It’s really not a huge deal at this point. We cannot afford another ugly loss, though. We need to at least split with MSU. Thankfully Purdue lost today, so they didn’t gain ground on us.

We’re not a bunch of losers.  You can speak for yourself.  I’ve played in a lot of basketball games and I’ve seen thousands off basketball games.  THIS WAS THE WORST EVER.  Our coach has never been ejected in his career.  I call bullshit on your,”we are losers!”

Lol.  Thanks there Ozone.  Especially since you’re the next loan officer in the thread.  You have your opine, and I have mine.  Not a follower.  This was by far the worst refereed game ever and without Beilein our adjustments were harder.  Thus, my opinion of us not being losers just because they did to our team what they’re used to covering up there is not incorrect.  They $&:(:$& us!

Michigan played much better basketball in the second half.  The first technical was absolutely intentional -- Beilein was using it as a motivational tactic.  The second one presumably surprised him.

Beilein was right to be steamed, though.  It's one thing to call nonsense fouls on three-point attempts, but not calling the moving screen was inexcusable.  It's dangerous.  The referees sent a clear signal that it was OK to injure the opponent.

Iggy and Poole need to get their heads out of their asses. Matthews has turned a corner. Teske and Simpson both with off nights but can’t get on them too much because they’ve been the anchors all year.

The bench play sucks. It’s Livers and...

It’s pretty much 4 on 5 with Brooks out there.

That was probably Simpson's worst game of the year.

He's been a rock, despite inconsistent shooting. Tonight he seemed a bit off his game. Hope he got it out of his system.

Teske looked tired; Stevens is a good player, but Teske has played much more effectively against better players.

A few games ago Matthews was in a deep funk; Iggy and Poole will get it together.

Just match energy and intensity from the start. This team is “too cool” sometimes.

Every team brings their best. They certainly know that by now.

Match it.

This isn't football.

Penn State is a good team.  They're not a great team, by any means, but Michigan was an 8-point favorite, not a 20 point favorite.  1-11 in conference is misleading: lost by 7 at Maryland, by 2 at Indiana, by 6 at Nebraska, by 7 vs Iowa, by 1 at Minnesota, by 4 to Rutgers, by 9 in overtime to Purdue, and by 4 at Ohio State.

If they get a few more bounces -- or tonight's referees -- they're 6-6 instead of 1-11.
