Great period by the Blue,,,eh White.

Ugliest uniforms I've ever seen M hockey wear. But maybe that's what they needed. Played a great period.

This team needs to get their shit together for the season. Today’s game would be a great start.

They’re “good.” They’re talented and they control play and get plenty of shots, but they lack elite scoring talent right now so scoring goals has been an issue.

This year and next are rebuilding years as Mel gets his guys in here. Recruiting was a crapshoot with Red contemplating retiring and we’re seeing the effects of that

The good news is that there are lots of opportunities to move up in the rankings, because we have this game and one more in February at RPI #4 ND, a home series with RPI #8 Penn State, and four games against RPI #3 OSU.  If we can go over .500 in those games, a tournament bid could be in play.  Road wins get an extra RPI premium as well, so this would be a huge win.

Who knew Pierre McGuire would have such good Michigan and college hockey stories?  Good thing for us he LOST the recruiting battle way back when for Brian Wiseman!
