Tarik has the heart of a champion!
As much as this young man has gone through with injuries he has never stopped competing. Here’s to health for him and all of our Wolverines through this game and the offseason. Good talent coming in hopefully will compliment the firepower that is learning and growing under Coach Harbaugh.
December 29th, 2018 at 2:59 PM ^
Yeah, but he has the mien of a guy who wishes he were somewhere else.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:01 PM ^
No, he knew he dropped that TD, you misread his expression. He was bummed he dropped it and it was going to be reversed.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:15 PM ^
He actually displayed a less than desirable disposition on the bench. He needed a strong pep talk and at least got one.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:16 PM ^
Yeah you can have that reaction after the game (maybe) but during the game? You have to shake that off.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:44 PM ^
Exactly. I come from a baseball background and that pouting on the bench would have given you a permanent spot. I understand he’s been through a lot but that behavior is a cancer to anyone willing to listen.
December 29th, 2018 at 2:59 PM ^
What firepower? Does the coaching staff know about said firepower?
December 29th, 2018 at 3:01 PM ^
I hope he stays.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:20 PM ^
Why would any high profile WR want to play here? If he's concerned about his NFL prospects he should transfer.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:01 PM ^
Catch the fucking ball.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:01 PM ^
Hope he stays and manages to be healthy for the rest of his career. Excellent receiver.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:02 PM ^
Heart and effort is not the issue with this team. But that only gets you so far. They have to have great execution and game plans. The latter 2 is what has been lacking for the latter part of the season and is being exploited in this game.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:03 PM ^
This is not what I expected to be seeing at the end of year four for Harbaugh...I'm now 100% of the mindset that Harbaugh is not the guy.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:07 PM ^
It doesn't help when the best/better players sit out (or phone it in). Kudos to those that stayed and gave 100%
December 29th, 2018 at 3:11 PM ^
Wouldn't make a difference for offense. Still doing the same stupid clock draining stuff.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:08 PM ^
And then Florida scores on 3&20....
December 29th, 2018 at 3:12 PM ^
It's okay, we are a basketball school
December 29th, 2018 at 3:07 PM ^
At least our coaches earn their pay. 30 plus points. I would be fired. I think Jim has his head in another universe. It's not winning at Michigan. Please send my season ticket refund for watching incompetence.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:08 PM ^
Harbaugh has lost this team. I didn’t think it would happen again after losing the team for the season after Peters went down at UW last year, but it happened again.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:09 PM ^
yeah but still choked when the game was sort of in reach
December 29th, 2018 at 3:11 PM ^
He almost got Perry killed on that last play.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:14 PM ^
Now we know why Shea transferred. He is a loser that plays for a loser that takes all your $ and gives it to sports that make no money.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:11 PM ^
Is this the snowflake thread yet?
December 29th, 2018 at 3:12 PM ^
Dear Tarik:
You are a champion for what you have had to endure.
But take this advice: You should transfer from this joke of a program.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:23 PM ^
I wish I could +1 this again and again and again. Super Mario style.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:25 PM ^
He can't afford to sit out another year. Any chance he has of salvaging his career will have to be at Michigan. He needs to pray Michigan can find a coach who gets a clue that the best players actually need to be on the field and not on the sideline.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:12 PM ^
One thread just got nuked. Please - just shut down the board now...
December 29th, 2018 at 3:18 PM ^
Why? Because you can't handle bad things said about Harbaugh? Ever think about just getting off the blog yourself?
December 29th, 2018 at 3:20 PM ^
Nah, keep this board going.
At least we know where all the morons post.
This place rules!
December 29th, 2018 at 3:15 PM ^
He will look good in a Texas jersey. Sucks our staff has no fucking clue how to use the best set of skill players on the roster. Wait. I think we just handed it off to Evans off tackle again.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:16 PM ^
He also missed an assignment that almost got Grant Perry killed.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:17 PM ^
There is no learning or growing under Harbaugh. The only thing he grows is his fucking paycheck. He has shown that he will never win in college football. Time to show him the door.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:20 PM ^
Exactly. Its not working. Time to bring someone else in who knows how to develop his players and runs an offense that’s not from the disco era.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:21 PM ^
Yeah, let's fire the guy who after the RR and Brady Hoke debacles has us back in the top 10 and winning 10 games/season.
Who you going to replace him with?
Seriously, who?
The majority of this fanbase deserves RR back with Brady Hoke as his "get back" coach. Seriously. What a bunch of whiny ass dumbfucks.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:30 PM ^
Who the fuck cares about going 10-3 every year? Jesus Christ
December 29th, 2018 at 8:38 PM ^
Eh, 10-3 pretty solid. Would take that and a clean program over NC and dirty/ negative headline-grabbing, honestly. Would not want to be knowsnas a Bama rumored player-paying, OSU athletics-before-morals, etc. Heck I wouldn't even want Michigan to be known for athletics over academics.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:20 PM ^
This coaching staff gives the feeling that is wants to be put out of it's misery. What happened to Michigan and Harbaugh?
December 29th, 2018 at 3:23 PM ^
For all you so called fans that rag on the players, STFU! T Black is a great player that can and will make a difference for this team next year. Any of you calling for him or any other player to transfer is not a fan of this team or college football. I sure as hell would not want you on my team. support your team or go root for some other team!
December 29th, 2018 at 3:24 PM ^
He’s transferring.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:24 PM ^
Well, too bad Patterson has the arm of a cheerleader. I can’t believe it was even a discussion of him going into draft.
Put me in the “McCaffrey Camp” for 2019. Patterson sucks
December 29th, 2018 at 3:28 PM ^
Just wait for Sam Webb’s spin when Tarik announces that he is transferring. I hope I’m wrong but his body language has been awful last few games.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:50 PM ^
I’d be pissed to if I never got the ball. Granted his body language sucks and maybe that’s part of the problem. Nonetheless, he blew right past his defender the whole game and never got a pass his way. Then again, when our line was a fugging sieve and our qb sucked ass from the opening whistle what do you expect.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:44 PM ^
No one else on this team seems to.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:44 PM ^
Biggest take from this game ....total lack of real threat playmakers at receiver. This group has a boatload of hype, yet run piss poor patterns and schemes, and never get separation.
Can count on one hand the number of catches in stride with yac all year.
The shame is the what-if career stats for any of them on another team ...would be interesting.
December 29th, 2018 at 4:52 PM ^
The o-line has not given Shea time to throw in any competitive game this season. Shea is not accurate on the short throws when a dart is required and Harbaugh knows if he calls a play for the long pass that Shea will be sacked. That has been true all season. No real good pass protecting o-line.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:46 PM ^
You evidently didn’t watch his attempt to block a corner on a WR screen.
