Thanks for posting.

He's not Dave Brandon.
That alone gives him a pass in my book.

The dude was a fucking clown and as tone deaf as a headstone.
Good riddance and credit to MSU's regents for doing the right thing.
|01/16/2019 - 2:54am||About a week ago, i actually…||
About a week ago, i actually messaged Tate Martell about the story of Tom Brady and how he faced a similar situation to his when he had to fend off fierce competition from uber-hotshot QB, Drew Henson.
I told Tate about how close Brady was set on transferring to California, but instead of backing out, he went directly to Coach Carr, looked him in the eye and said: I'm going to win the starting job. Even after that declaration, the starting qb wasn't given to him as he still had to earn it. He had to maximize every practice rep and every opportunity he got.
Eventually we know how the rest of the story turned out: not only did Brady end up having a successful career at Michigan, he even credits the tremendous competition he faced against Drew Henson for building that razor sharp mental toughness that has allowed him to become arguably the G.O.A.T.
I conveyed all of that to Tate as a genuine attempt to encourage a QB from our most hated rival school to not quit. "Hey man, if you act like Tom did, maybe you'll end up experience the same level of success."
What happened the next day?
Tate then announces that he is transferring.
Kids these days.
So soft and just want to have things handed to them vs working their asses off for it.
|01/14/2019 - 12:50am||Good.
But it baffles me…
But it baffles me she was even considered in the first place.
|01/13/2019 - 9:16pm||What the hell was that idiot…||
What the hell was that idiot of an AD, Warde, thinking when he hired this snake for our gymnastics coach?
The optics of this move makes Michigan look terrible and no better than the idiots at East Landfill and at OSU.
I wouldn't be surprised if this plants seeds in the minds of some of the Regents to seriously questions Warde's judgment and consider firing him down the road.
|01/11/2019 - 2:46pm||Lots of staff turnover…||
Lots of staff turnover happening at Alabama.
And to think many of us were flipping out a few days ago that we lost an old-beyond-his prime coach in Mattison and an OSU lean in Washington.
|01/10/2019 - 7:26pm||Welcome aboard Coach Gattis!…||
Welcome aboard Coach Gattis! We're ready to have you make your mark here and imprint your legacy here on offense.
|01/10/2019 - 4:28pm||I'm excited about this hire…||
I'm excited about this hire. He's a coach who has a proven ability to get a lot out of talented WR's which we have for next year. I would be really excited if I were DPJ, Nico, Tarik Black or any of the WR on the team.
While posters on this thread and others raise legitimate questions of whether Gattis will have full reigns of the offense, I'm excited that Harbaugh is being proactive in strengthening our coaching staff.
Now let's see what happens with the DL and LB coaches that we need to replace.
|01/10/2019 - 1:45am||Amen.
The fan pessimism…
The fan pessimism here makes Michigan fans sound insufferable.
|01/10/2019 - 1:42am||Excuse me "Albatross"?
Excuse me "Albatross"?
Some word of advice for you: If you don't agree with an opinion then a) either offer an intelligent counterpoint of your own instead of shit talking a fellow fan or b) shut up.
And judging by your comment I don't think I'm the one that has been drinking liquor here, buddy :)
|01/09/2019 - 9:42pm||Sorrell + Little will be Sr…||
Sorrell + Little will be Sr's by the time Hinton lands on campus.
Whereas Mayfield will be RS SO and Keegan and Jones will most likely still be RS Freshmen.
Early playing time is always a factor and I don't discount that as a reason that Hinton chose Stanford over us.
|01/09/2019 - 8:27pm||GIven that we already have…||
GIven that we already have Jaylen Mayfield, Trevor Keegan and Trente Jones ahead of him, I'm not surprised.
|01/09/2019 - 5:33pm||If it's just a 3 star player…||
If it's just a 3 star player then it's going to be such a letdown at this point. Rather hear news on a top coach coming in.
|01/08/2019 - 7:58pm||Seriously...when you read…||
Seriously...when you read the public meltdown on USC message boards, it makes me feel better about our situation.
|01/08/2019 - 5:21pm||Moving Hill to Viper would…||
Moving Hill to Viper would be the biggest waste of his talent IMHO. Safety or Cornerback is where we need him the most.
And if the team is considering using him on offense when we have a boatload of talent there already is just more evidence that our coaching staff don't know how to use our best players.

Devin Bush Sr to Linebacker Coach (secure his recruiting prowess for Florida)
Maybe Chris Partridge to D-Line coach (secure his recruiting prowess on the east coast)
|01/08/2019 - 1:32pm||This one certainly stings a…||
This one certainly stings a lot, but to be honest I'm not that surprised given Al Washington's strong ties to OSU and his experience working with Ryan Day at BC.
|01/08/2019 - 4:18am||As the previous poster…||
As the previous poster mentioned, i prefer we keep a rising star in Al Washington and promote him to D Line.
But if he leaves...then i'm not opposed to the idea of bringing Hoke back.
|01/07/2019 - 11:53pm||Given the control that…||
Given the control that Harbaugh has over the program, and with an AD that bows to him in reverence...I doubt it.
|01/07/2019 - 11:37pm||I was thinking he's a more…||
I was thinking he's a more athletic Peyton Manning. But Andrew Luck also makes sense too.
|01/07/2019 - 10:58pm||while losing Mattinson to…||
while losing Mattinson to OSU is a blow to the ego, keep in mind that Nick Saban has lost 20 different assistants over the past 5 years. Last year, Saban lost his DC, Jeremy Pruitt, to an inter conference rival Tennessee.
So the optics don't look good for Mattinson bc he left for our most hated rival, but we'll be ok.
|01/07/2019 - 9:51pm||What already impresses me…||
What already impresses me about Brent Venables, Clemson's DC, is that he mixes up coverage almost when the play happens. in one play, the db's are lined up in man coverage but at the snap they immediately shift to a cover 2 that led to an interception.
Hello Don Brown? I hope you are watching and taking notes!
|01/07/2019 - 8:59pm||Uhhh...both offenses don't…||
Uhhh...both offenses don't run it up the gut on 1st, 2nd and 3rd down?
Instead, they actually pass the ball?
And when they actually pass the ball, they don't do what we do which is pass to our big, slow clunky tight ends all the time but to actual 5 star recievers?
|01/07/2019 - 6:42pm||If Al Washington ends up…||
If Al Washington ends up leaving for OSU, then I think I would have serious concerns about what exactly is going on in the Michigan team.
|01/07/2019 - 5:31pm||If Fields gains eligibility…||
If Fields gains eligibility and wins the starting QB battle next year, then I bet he's going to end up better than Haskins was this year.
|01/07/2019 - 5:29pm||Dude...stop focusing on the…||
Dude...stop focusing on the future and just sit back and appreciate what we have now.
Yes, Coach B will leave at some point. But I bet it won't happen for a while.
|01/07/2019 - 5:26pm||Ryan Day and Co are pulling…||
Ryan Day and Co are pulling some serious Sun Tzu Art of War shit on us. The key to defeating your enemy is not to do it on the field, but before you meet your enemy on the field. What better way than to shake up our coaching ranks and to an extent our 2020 recruiting efforts.
All I have to say is "Thank God' we signed our 2019 commits during the early signing period.
|01/07/2019 - 1:28pm||What the heck is going on…||
What the heck is going on with our coaching staff? Retiring is one thing...but to even consider going to OSU?
Are you kidding me?
|01/06/2019 - 7:38pm||I agree. Brian Ellerbe was…||
I agree. Brian Ellerbe was terrible.
Tom Amaker was a decent, but not an elite, coach. But I give Amaker the credit for reshaping the seating arrangement at Crisler to be just like that of Cameron Indoor Stadium at Duke where they have a student section in the front.
|01/06/2019 - 7:12pm||I remember I entered college…||
I remember I entered college at Michigan right towards the end of the Steve Fisher era. While I enjoyed the first few years of the Maurice Taylor, Tractor Traylor, Louise Bullock years, I remember how devastating the sanctions were that made our basketball program painfully mediocre at best in the Big Ten for the next 10 years.
In short: I couldn't be more happy and proud to see how far we have come under John Beilein. It wasn't easy early in his tenure. But his patience, persistence, and integrity has made us into a thge type of Big Ten basketball powerhouse that we aspire to also be in football.
So long as Beilein (and don't forget Luke Yaklich!) are here, here's to many more years of sustained success.
|01/04/2019 - 2:13pm||Crap.
If Justin Fields…
If Justin Fields does get immediate eligibility (which in my opinion, I doubt he will bc his excuse of hearing a racial slur from a Georgia baseball player is super lame in my opinion), he has the potential to be even a more dynamic threat than Haskins was.
|01/04/2019 - 2:02pm||I thought it was a really…||
I thought it was a really good story about Frank and it's good to know that he owned up to his mistakes and that his gf validated his side of the story. No one is perfect. We all make mistakes. The question is do we recognize our mistakes and try to make good from them.
I think Frank has and it's good to see a fellow Wolverine rebound from his mistakes and thrive in his role as a dominant DE with Seattle.
|01/03/2019 - 8:04pm||We got a lot of talent…||
We got a lot of talent coming back. Never in question. I just question whether our coaching staff can maximize their talent and put our players in position to succeed.
|01/03/2019 - 2:25pm||You noted how Saban didn't…||
You noted how Saban didn't get his own OL that he recruited to become AA's until 2012, his fifth year. I think Harbaugh+Ed Wariner are on similar trajectory to develop some really good O Linemen we have in Bredenson, Ruiz and Runyon.
Once they leave, I have a good feeling about the likes of Jaylen Mayfield, Chuck Filiaga, and the massive OL class we brought in for 2019, from which we have the potential to build our own OL factory there.
|01/02/2019 - 3:32pm||I know a lot of fans have…||
I know a lot of fans have expressed frustration with Zach disappearing in the OSU game and questioning whether his decision to go to the NFL early is a "mistake" and that he should return for one more year. But I'm on the record to say that Wolverine nation should appreciate Zach Gentry.
As a member of Harbaugh's first class, he could have gone anywhere and be a starting QB. But instead he helped stabilize a 2015 class that was depleted by Hoke's firing. Moreso, he took a risk to transition from QB to tight end ( a decision that I bet must have been tough for him to consider) and added a dangerous dimension to our offense that we didn't have since Jake Butt left.
Thank you for your dedication, sacrifice and faith in Wolverine Nation, Zach! We are proud to have had you on our team. Now go out and chase that $$$ in the NFL.
|01/02/2019 - 2:50pm||Best of long to David Long…||
Best of luck long to David Long. I always considered him as one of the unsung stars of our defense and I believe he has the talent to succeed in the NFL. I think David Long should be added to the list of great players who have roamed our secondary over the years people will think of the likes of Ty Law, Charles Woodson, Leon Hall, Marlin Jackson, Donovan Warren, and Jourdan Lewis.
|12/30/2018 - 11:22pm||Despite my nuclear…||
Despite my nuclear frustrations with Harbaugh and co, my core conviction remains the same that Harbaugh is the best coach for us and will continue to be. When we reach the top of the pinnacle, we'll look back at these years of frustration with much appreciation for the journey and not the end destination.

You are a champion for what you have had to endure.
But take this advice: You should transfer from this joke of a program.

David Long is down...it's because he realizes the defense is shit and the more he plays in it the more his draft stock will go down.

I can't wait for Tyree Kinnel to leave. Daxton Hill can't come quicker enough.
|12/24/2018 - 4:58pm||I'm a Michigan alum and I…||
I'm a Michigan alum and I went to high school in Princeton so I'm very familiar with the campus.
If your daughter knows she wants to pursue Engineering then I would recommend that your daughter choose Michigan over Princeton for the following reasons:
1) Both are global, brand name recognized schools. If she were deciding between Princeton vs. a scholarship to Michigan State University, then I would definitely recommend Princeton as the Ivy league brand goes much further.
2) Saving extra money on in-state tuition goes a loooooong way for you and your wife.
3) Princeton is a nice city and has a nice campus and I always visit there whenever I come back home for the holidays. But there has always been something special about Ann Arbor that resonates to me to this very day.
4) Back when i was at Michigan, the joke was that Michigan was an "Ivy League reject school" meaning if you ask 10 freshmen if Michigan were there first choice, probably 9/10 would say it wasn't and they came here b/c they got rejected from an Ivy League school. But by the time they graduate, i guarantee you that 10/10 of them would say they were so glad to have gone to Michigan instead of an Ivy League school.
Your daughter has a bright future either way and I'm sure you and your wife are proud of her whichever way she decides.
|12/24/2018 - 2:26am||There is only word to…||
There is only word to describe the Jet's pursuit of Harbaugh: Desperate.
Why the heck would Harbaugh ever entertain leaving his "Camelot:" for a s shitstorm that is the Jets?
To the Jets: Stop chasing after the wind and hire Mike Mccarthy instead.

WIth Dax Hill signed, I wouldn't be surprised if Quinten Johnson flipped.
Amauri Pesek-Hickson is a beast (6'3/210) that we need to lock down. Hope he signs with us.

As good as Hill is, I think he will be the primary backup to Hill and Brad Hawkins. But once Metellus leaves, it'l be the Dax Hill show from there.
|12/19/2018 - 12:26pm||While Gary and Winovich were…||
While Gary and Winovich were stars in their own right, Devin Bush was the ringleader, the heart and soul, and leader of our Defense. He is going to go down in Michigan football history as one of the best Linebackers and players our football team has ever had.
Good luck D-Bush! Thank you for all that you have given to us. Now go out and get that $$$!
