This is 100% because of that fucking 200 lbs steaming shit we took in Columbus.  Especially with Twitter, imagine the constant messaging he was getting, "I can't believe you're going to that program after that game."  Combine that with the legit NFL game that the SEC championship game was, and here we are.

Take a bow coaching staff.

How about we just massively upgrade the other side of the team by hiring whoever runs the 15th best offense and firing everyone on the O side?

Yeah the defense sucked that game, but the offense didn't do SHIT to help out - just like every game for the last two years.

Fall out from OSU shellacking us probably. Are we ever going to be an elite program? Or is a season like this year our fucking ceiling? I know he's the one recruit, but Damn.

All correct.  We are never going to consistently be an elite program with our current constraints.  We might get lucky and get a magical '97-esque season surrounded by some 8-9 win seasons.  But, we are never going to be like OSU and win 10-13 games for 15 straight years.

I really do think Harbaugh is the best man for the job, and there's no denying the program is WAY better off than it was four years ago.  With that said, if Jim doesn't get a win over OSU in 2019, it's hard to see him back in 2020.

Sometimes I just get sick of this process.  I doubt beating OSU would have had any influence on this.  It is just hard to pry top 150 type kids from out of region.  Dax Hill, Isiah Wilson, Laquon Treadwell, etc.  Sometimes I'd rather we just get the bagman going too and be done with it so I can stop being frustrated by my love of UM football.

Maybe he listened to Chris Carter and got spooked, on top of us playing ass the last 3 games.  Plus, who wouldn't want to play for Bama who always wins?  Can't fault the kid.

Have to assume this came out of nowhere for the coaches too, seeing as we haven't put out any new offers to DBs recently. I think that's the most painful part, it's only 11 days to early signing day, doesn't give us much of a chance to replace with quality.

This is the definition of a dong punch.

Winning period and winning the big games is what you have to do and we haven’t won the big games.

I respect the tradition of Michigan football but that isn’t drawing in the elite talent any longer. Kids do not care we are the winningest program of all time or highlights of the teams 20 years ago yet that is all we promote. They care about the now and we have adapt

While everyone was looking towards OSU losing recruits from Urbz leaving, then this bomb is dropped. Oh well, life as we know it being a UM fan. Haz nice things...never.

Was too good to be true to get him.

Getting your defense totally embarrassed by Ohio St will do this. He did the right thing. If he was my son I'd tell him to do it too.

And I have been a Michigan fan since 1971.

Unreal how this happens every single year. Its as if there’s a game being played by the top schools, let Michigan get their top guys early, then come in late and take them away. We just won’t win the top games without top talent, and don’t give me the crap about D’Antonio and how we have had Rashan and Jabrill. OSU, Bama, UGa, Clemson and others have that level of talent by the dozens. Michigan has 2-3 a year.

Fuck, this sucks. Can’t help but think we may lose another 2-3 and have to scramble for yet another group of reach type guys. Argh... ok im done

Last year’s class when compared to OSU’s was an embarrassment.  Our class was literally closer to Bowling Green’s or Georgia Southern’s than it was to Ohio State’s if you went by recruiting total points from 247.

This year’s class is not finished. It’s still a good class of it hold together. But us beating OSU is like Minnesota bearing us, just isn’t going to happen all that often because of a talent gap.

Perfect***^+#@$%^&*%$%#()+&%$$##@%^^  well that didn't help.

need some good news about football. Ohio screwed the hell out of the year. Bad enough getting drug over broken glass to them without more bad news.

Knew it was coming

The Dax Hills are the type of players we need to be a legitimate big time program. Michigan keeps choking and shit like this will keep happening

Although it is funny how when Dax committed he said winning isn't everything and that he wanted a good education then Michigan loses and he flips. Full of shit he is

Michigan football is so fucking depressing. I came here to read about the basketball win and I get hit with this. FUCK
