Noon Games Open Thread?

Rutgers at Wisconsin seems like a forgone conclusion, Buckeyes and Nebraska as well.

Hoping for Auburn to beat A&M and upset the SEC bias rankings a little

Clemson continues its annual cupcake schedule to the playoffs.

Nobody remembers how good or bad we were before all of those losses to Ohio State since 2003.  They just know we lost.

One of my favorite wins over OSU was in 1988 - the Kolesar show where he accounted for all of the yards on the game winning TD drive.  Turns out, OSU was pretty bad that year.  I didn't even remember that.  Don't care, it's still one of my favorite wins.

I don't care how good or bad they are when we beat them.  Just beat them and let history sort it out.

Why do you think the upset in '69 is so legendary, so historic, so special, so memorable, so important & meaningful?

Do you think it would be any of those things if the buckeyes had sucked?

This was going to be an incredible season for the ages to win this league and go to the playoff because of the impossible gauntlet we had to run through. Now our schedule is looking pretty fucking mediocre at best.

If OSU loses, and especially keeps losing like so many of you lilly livered fans desire, that takes everything meaningful out of beating them! Woopty shit we FINALLY fucking beat them when anyone can beat them? Hollow revenge.

Worthless win that proves nothing to the committee, to the doubters, or college football in general. Michigan will get zero credit in anyone's mind and it won't count at all toward getting the OSU or rivals monkey off Harbaugh's or M's back. It might keep us out of the playoff.

If you don't want to beat the best teams and have a tough schedule and monster rivals what is the fucking point or joy in winning???

Well at least you guys can relish your most cherished win, 78 zip vs our biggest rival!

Maybe you guys would be happier if we joined the Mac?

Jesus!

Looks like Robert Smith is starting to realize that OSU is very meh this year. His face is one of worry and resigned...maybe this team can't get their shit together.

OSU players look like they have given up on the coaches and team.  As we have experience with, this is not something you can change.

Note- A kind reminder to you participants in today's Buckeyes open threads: we're allowing voting today as a tool- not a weapon- to help us monitor, self-govern, and self-police commentary during the game. We know that passions run high at times; we make allowance for that. But ad hominem attacks, vulgar and/or obscene comments directed against either the team or fellow commentators are disheartening and unacceptable.

But . . . but . . . I thought we were the worst fanbase in football.

Just for reference, Wisconsin and Ohio State games both started at noon. The B1G Channel game has 2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, the Fox game is just coming out of halftime.
