So......... Notre Dame has it better than us?
I dont like this poll.

Yeah... It's a flawed system. Notre Dame is essentially getting credit for being #26 in basketball, where they are ranked around #33.
EDIT: If you're getting points for difference from #26, then Notre Dame would have 36 points. So therefore we can conclude that Notre Dame does NOT have it better than us. And considering Kentucky doesn't have a D-1 Hockey program, their credit for a #26 ranking in hockey is null, and they don't have it as good as us either.

I like it! Would love to see a women's version too.
I still have no idea how MSU is ranked above us in basketball.

Neat idea but this seems biased towards programs that have college hockey, which is a minority. Looking at just football and basketball we would be second behind Kentucky, surprisingly.

Yeah. To make it more universal, you could include baseball rankings for schools whose "third" sport was baseball and not hockey. Just make the category "Third Sport".
Don't know the best way to determine which is the third sport for the schools that do compete in both - probably whichever is ranked higher at the time. That way teams like Florida or Florida State would get their baseball ranking, and we would get our hockey ranking.

Shouldn't Minnesota-Duluth, St. Cloud State, Providence, Gonzaga, Duke, Virginia, and so forth round out the top 25? Doesn't change Michigan's #2 ranking but aren't we cherry-picking all football for the rest of the "TOTAL" rankings list?

Also, Kansas is missing but should be at 25 points for their #1 ranking in basketball.

Quinninninninninnippiac wants their 14 points for hockey.

Pretty sure you missed the four silent "m"'s in their name. I don't know if they spell them out in the name all the time, but I am sure they are officially there.

Michigan St and UNC are also missing in the "total" column... And as I look again I see that like half of the teams that should be in the "total" column aren't there.

Also missing MSU which is ranked in basketball and hockey.

The OP is waiting for the shoe company's check to clear before he gives Kansas their points.

OK, next week I'll put basketball and hockey schools in, but only list top 25.

Final Four in basketball. Frozen Four in hockey. I like how this is trending.

We need to add a sport to this data to take over the top spot.
Maybe wrestling?

To be fair to warm weather schools that either don’t play or suck at hockey, should probably add baseball
October 31st, 2018 at 4:32 PM ^
Fuck ND and osu.
That is all.
October 31st, 2018 at 7:55 PM ^
Adding Softball would be the clincher for us

Teams should lose points for enabling rapists, pedophiles, sexual abusers, or wife beaters.

Your formula is messed up. ND is not ranked in basketball so should not get a 0! They should get an infinity!
