So, Sam Webb hasnt posted on wolverine247 since Saturday and mentions of him or his articles are being immediately deleted from the board. Anyone know anything about this? Did Lorenz win the power struggle or did Rivals pony up to get the best man in the biz? It will be interesting...

Sam said on WTKA that because the season just start he was gonna wait until emotions weren't running so high before he gives any recruiting news on 247. He said he has a Daxton Hill piece he is working on, but that the season opener took precedence over recruiting news.

Webb hasn't gone anywhere. I know some of the 247 staff and they're deleting all comments relating to Webb leaving because they're completely unfounded.
This fan base is capable of taking the slightest thing and turning it into a shitfest. Relax.

Didn't Sam say that he's going to be going to recruits homes to write articles on them and their recruiting process? I think he mentioned doing an in depth piece on Daxton Hill, he talked about following him around for a week to get a day in the life of him and his family type thing...he's probably just on the way to Oklahoma for a friday night high school game.
