I’m super OCD (shocker) so I’m really excited that the rendering shows our official Nike font as the Endzone lettering.
Now we gotta put Jumpman under the basketball nets on the padding like UNC does.

Hold up there, cowboy. I think there could be a place for the maize unis as well, but not at a home game. Definitely not.
I Loved the ALL Maize uniform against Florida..Wish we would do that more often..The White is very bland

Dumb question: as far as I know, the next Michigan Stadium event is the Liverpool-Man City ICC match at the end of July. Why are the goalposts still up? Why are they laying down the turf now just to have to put a soccer pitch on top of it later?
I'm sure there is some schedule that makes it all make sense (maybe not enough time in early August to do this before the team starts fall practice in the Stadium?) but it just seems strange that the field is being laid down now.
They put the grass field on top of the field turf but ya seems strange they wouldn’t wait until after the game
The next event is Movie Night on July14 (come on Black Panther ...win the vote). On WTKA they said the turf people said the weight of the temporary grass would help the field turf settle down.

Now we will finally be able to run the 'lie down and try to blend in with the end zone during kick-offs and pretend you don't look like a tool and hope you don't make the non-top 10 plays that evening on ESPN because the ball wasn't even kicked to you and everybody in the stands were pointing and laughing even though it's homefield.' play.

I remember walking out of class on a Friday and seeing the blimp quietly hovering overhead on perfect fall day and then realizing we have a big game tomorrow - that was cool

Didn't read comments above but weren't we talking about this last winter? This is simply and undeniably awesome! Just like at the Rose Bowl. Remember watching those games as a kid before I had hair on my knuckles and thinking how sweet it looked. Nice play guys, very nice play!

Minority vote. Only because we should beat OSU, beat MSU and develop an appropriate number of walk-ons before we even consider going with blue endzones.
You have it backwards. The blue end zone will help us beat OSU. Urban has an aversion to blue, which he has passed on to the whole team. They will avoid our end zone like Pavlov's dogs.

I’m actually very excited about this. It should have happened awhile ago.
At first I was all "oh gawd no" but if they turn out like that one picture then I'll like them a lot even though it does deviate from the traditional look of the field inside the stadium.
We'll get a much better idea later when we're in the seats with oodles of others in the fall. :)
