But..but..I thought this wasn't possible??

Why the hell didn't this happen when it was -30 wind chill my freshman year???

Kids these days. They have it so easy. (Insert pissed off old man face)...except I'm only 25

Back in my day, I walked 15 miles to my classes through 8 feet of snow.  While being chased by a rabid polar bear.  And by golly, I made it to every one 10 minutes early.  Damned kids are so pampered these days.

One thing I thought of today was we spend way too little time enjoying victories and way too much time wallowing in defeats. I swear we get a huge win and then 48 hours later start fretting and worrying again. After a huge loss we sit around this year blog and mope for weeks and weeks and create constant topics titled "When will Michigan be elite again?"

Let's savor these three wins a little more. A run unheard of at Michigan and not seen nationally for decades.

We humbled those cocky MSU bastards on their home court without our lottery-pick center. They are sad and still whining over at RCMB now.

Wisconsin is still trying to figure out why that one time we didn't get a foul called on us when we breathed on That Other Gumpy Looking White Guy Who Plays For Wisconsin.

Iowa thought they were going to validate their greatness by beating us with their super-duper speed but ended up being slowed down by Beilein's gloriously slow and efficient gameplan

Look how sad you are Tom

POSBANG ME. Everyone else sucks and we are awesome - untied atop the best conference in the country. BANG BANG BANG

Lucky bastards!! My graduate classes at University of Buffalo were not cancelled despite wind chill temps of -39

Old UnkleBuck is beyond sick of this crap-ass weather.  I travel a lot with work, needless to say its raised the stress level a bit.  But the recent Sparty weekend beatdown (hockey, wrestling, bball) has more than made up for it.

Came across this last night...lets you play the role of GM for your favorite team complete with trades and an overall grade. Thought some of you would enjoy.

Actually cancelled? Back in 1994 we had a couple of days that approached wind chill of -40 (I think it was actually lower) but class was never cancelled.

Bunch of babies around here.  Boo hoo, -30 degrees.  This how people roll in NYC.

Honestly, best of luck to everyone tomorrow.  Those sound like absolutely terrifying temperatures.

I could go on about how I never had a snow day in my days on campus but I am in Anchorage this week for work and it is 47 degrees out! Almost feels like a win!!

Which is weird, cuz, like, it's not even snowing right now.  You'd think if there was ever a time to break the 40-year-old snowday drought, it would've been during the Snowmaggedon at the beginning of the semester that left a bunch of students unable to get to campus.

And then MSU publicly announced that they are having class tomorrow and reminded students that 10-15 minutes of exposure to the wind chill could create frost bite.

Is it wrong to laugh?

No one in Michigan should have to work tomorrow. There's no point when we're just going to spend half the day bitching about how we had to go into work on the internet.

Not only do I have to trudge my frozen ass to the bus at 8AM in order to teach, I just got the old "it's-not-you-it's-me" routine completely out of nowhere in a freaking text message.

Need a posbang real bad here, you guys. This winter sucks.
