What is your 2013 Jersey?

What is your 2013 Jersey that you will be wearing this year?  Number, Brand, Authentic, Replica, Name?  Or will you be wearing the season shirt?  I am currently in the market because I have dropped 130 lbs and my #2 woodson jersey no longer fits and is framed in my living room.

Didn't forget; there have been 7s before and since but I never said I was rockin the number for them. I bought the thing because I was excited about Henson (he was my year which is why I got his instead of 32 for my favorite player at the time).

I never had it on during the Navarre years and claimed it was for Spencer Brinton. But I did lie to a guy once that it was for Leach because I was embarrassed to have been a "Put in Henson!" guy.

I've pretty much stop wearing the jersey to the game. It sucks to wear during the warm September games and it doesn't stand out as much as maize. I wear the maize tshirt or sweatshirt to every game. I still throw on the home jersey when I'm watching an away game on tv.

Just a 2009 Adidas highlighter yellow long sleeve T, sleeves cut off, a big cigar burnhole by the right kidney, has some mystery stains that look like grape jelly, Beck's beer and duck blood. Huge grass stain on the right shoulder from laying out for a bomb in Allmendinger Park that never quite came out.

How do people feel about hockey jerseys to football games? I wore my maize hockey jersey to the Sugar Bowl - mostly because it was brand new (Christmas present) and I couldn't resist wearing it - but I got a lot of questions about it. I think it works well because it is maize.

I have my #69 nike jersey that I got at the AD garage sale a few years ago or my Desmond Howard #21.  This will be my first year having non student season tickets so Ill have to make my decision on shirt depending on who is around my seats...#69 isnt ideal to explain to kids since it isnt Denard's old number or Devin's number now

This year, after I had Denard sign my #16 home jersey, I will be wearing my #41 Nike Zoltan Mesko gameworn home jersey. I snatched it at the garage sale the Michigan athletic department had during the switch to addidas. I was one of the first people in the door and I snatched it up pretty quick. I noticed Boren's jersey was still there after I checked out...

my antiqueing dad picked me up a Woodson #2 at an auction for $10 bucks...not authentic, but nice......i don't know what happened to the #32 i had in middle school. Im more of a t-shirt or sweatshirt guy. I also have my Bo portrait t-shirt in maize.

where'd you drop the 130 at? I'd like to go pick up 40 of it. In all seriousness congratulations on the accomplishment. No jersey for me, I like my hoodie in the colder weather or just a generic Michigan addidas t-shirt. Not very exciting, as I don't own a Michigan jersey yet.

Does anybody know if there's a direct way to purchase old official student t-shirts?  

I was class of 2010 including a victory lap, so I would be looking for ^that^ and the four previous incarnations.  I lost all my gear sometime during my last change of address and it's just been eating at me.

Different jerseys all the time. On game day though, I have a number 62 practice jersey that I found on eBay. It's made by Nike and it's awesome. It has the hologram M on the shoulders.

Three years ago I bought an away #1 jersey.  It's clean, crisp and most importantly, symbolic of Michigan, not a specific player.  I'm not a huge jersey guy, but I'll wear it on gamedays.

I do think it is weird to buy a jersey for a current player, which is why I went with the classic #1.

growing up in California my friend next door was related to Desmond Howard, he was given a pair of his game worn shoes autographed from his heismen season. I was 12 then, he neglected them, threw them in his closet. now I asked about them and he has no idea where they went. I told him then I would love to have them if he didn't care.

I got that Irons jersey right before graduation in May 97 since it was on sale. It was my first jersey and I joked with my roommate that I'd wear it for every game that year until we lost. And that if they went undefeated, I'd never wear it again and get it framed. We all know how that next season went. I broke it out for the hockey title game in 98,but it has been retired since. I had a very big dilemma about whether to wear it to the basketball game in Atlanta this year before deciding against it.

First layer of underwear, socks, and blue "Hail" shirt

Second layer of Blue suit complete with block M tie and dress shoes

3rd layer of #16 "authentic" jersey purchased from China

There are no quotations necessary, as the jerseys from China are all authentic. The numbers and letters are stitched on the fabric. Just because they're not purchased in the states for a ripping-off $160 or more, doesn't make them any less authentic.

This is always decision time for me each season.  Based on the numbers I have, I try to pick a horse to ride for the season.  So time to go roster checking:

I like wearing home for home and away for away.  Home Jerseys:

#6 Tyrone Wheatley jersey from waaay back in the day, now Ramon Taylor and Brian Cleary (wore this for years, especially nice as a Victor Hobson or Donovan Warren)

#23 Authentic from when Chris Perry was playing, now Dennis Norfleet

#32 Authentic from when Anthony Thomas was playing, now Shaun Austin

#2 100th game M-OSU commemorative, don't wear this much, now not used

#16 UTL jersey, my wife bought it for me and it has grown on me a lot; may wear for UTL II

Pretty sure I'll go with #23 this year.

Side note: When you go to the footbal statistics archive at MGoBlue.com and search for Kovacs, his jersey now comes up as "2B."  Friggin' unintended consequences of this whole "Legends" thing...
