Really love reading these detailed posts with examples on these guys.  Especially when it's positive stuff.

I'm not sure how high up on the list of requirements deep X&O acumen is for a power 5 head coach.  It certainly can be important, but also something you can hire.  But there are a lot of other things I'd probably rank higher in importance than "knowing Xs and Os", like player management, organizational skill, motivation, schmoozing boosters, parents, etc.  

There has to be a ticket to entry level knowledge there, but beyond that it doesn't have to be a hard requirement.

What about Sherrone Moore?  I know they're not going to put 2 Michigan assistants as finalists, but I think I'd take him over Minter.

I'm just happy I was able to figure out PnP without having to look it up.

Probably not that much overlap until the Tigers start making the playoffs again.  A pro like Dickerson could definitely make it work with minimal impact if the Tigers were willing.  

This summer's tournament results definitely suggest otherwise.  USMNT vs Mexico rivalry is in much better shape than Michigan vs OSU.
