Where did you find this??
...with Sam Webb on the Michigan Insider's Recruiting Roundup, Marshall said Michigan is in the top 5 because of Mattison and his NFL experience and experience coaching players who made it to the NFL. He also said that MSU is in there because of Dantonio. Called him a stand up guy or somesuch. As noted below, he explicitly said that Ohio is no longer being considered. Said his decision could come soon, then said he plans another visit to U-M. Can't recall if it was this weekend or next, but the juxtaposition of those two comments and his decision to come on WTKA was interesting.
How could Dantonio be a stand up guy while laying in the weeds?
Interesting that he has USC/ND in his top 5 because I'm not sure they have even offered. OU is interesting because that is obviously where our old DL coach now works.
....that OU made the list because of Jerry Montgomery.
Coach Brown mentions the absence of Ohio State (thanks to spartanfan123 below for the correction there). I like this. I am sure Meyer was never really interested anyway despite the brief commitment - it only makes sense somehow.
“@coachbrown3: 2014 DE Lawrence Marshall Top 5 in random order: #Michigan, Notre Dame, USC, Michigan State, Oklahoma. No Ohio State.”
— Lawrence Marshall Jr (@ESPN_Lo) May 3, 2013
Real recognize real? Marshall committed to Ohio State and then decommitted a couple days later. Neither party is "real."
Well.. no not really. Coach Brown tweeted that, Marshall just retweeted it. Here's Marshall's original tweet.
You need to get out more.
if memory serves, Burbridge wanted to come to Michigan, but we weren't sure his grades would qualify and didn't offer. UM raided his high school (Harrison) that year, which had typically been an MSU pipeline, taking Funchess and Ojemudia.
Exactly. Michigan obviously out-recruits MSU for guys both teams want, but MSU takes one or more every year. We wanted Reschke, at least one of the Bulloughs, DeAnthony Arnett (though I'm not sure how much that really counts). In fact, a good chunk of their 2010 class had Michigan offers.
I think he was interested in checking out Michigan but there were some grade concerns so we didn't really reciprocate for a while. When we finally did, he was pretty set on State
You probably want to save the energy you are now expending on insults to use in learning how to use sarcasm successfully.
Your "sarcasm" was a fail, Magnus's response was mild, and this post by you is way emo.
Actually, the correct way would be "Magnus's" since "Magnus" is not plural. You only omit the s when making a plural word possesive.
"The fans' opinions often differ from Magnus's."
Boy, I can honestly say I've never been called "pompass" prior to now.
I think we're all going to learn a lot from you.
His posts are pompasstic!

That kind of is a downfall though. You can be a fan and still be able to speak objectively. This is not one of those dur hur Michigan rulez everything blogs. We're able to mention how Dantonio has won against us without our fandom being questioned. If you love the team so much, you should be able to hear the negatives and not get all upset about it because you know there are so many positives to outweigh them.
You gotta rep the 616 better than that.
Um, maybe I wasn't clear, but I was trying to say that you were the wrong one here, 616.
