"Bauserman should leave or die"
Why anyone would willingly choose to play for that insufferable fanbase is beyond me.

Cool story Hansel.
October 9th, 2011 at 9:02 AM ^
internet examples of Ohio fans being irrational, angry and nigh psychotic, you're going to need to take a sabbatical from whatever it is you do other than that.
October 9th, 2011 at 9:01 AM ^
Sickening really. People need to consider what they say and do. Even obvious idiots like an adult that would make accusations and threats like this over a football game. I'm sure he was drunk or on something, maybe not. There is no excuse though. Terrible yet sadly what we expected, I hope it doesn't get worse as their season continues to fall apart.
October 9th, 2011 at 10:36 AM ^
dude and his kids a few weeks ago. So I suppose there is no way for this to work for him.
October 9th, 2011 at 9:02 AM ^
Bauserman's life could be spared if they just played Guiton instead. Shhhh don't tell Bollman.
October 9th, 2011 at 9:04 AM ^
One would first need to learn Walrus, by most accounts....
October 9th, 2011 at 12:06 PM ^
I need the every snap videos ....im phenning lol
October 9th, 2011 at 9:03 AM ^
"I'm seriously surprised no one has threatened Bauserman to quit the team. I know i'm angry so i can just only imagine some angry drunks who hate him"- from aforelinked board
To put mental effort into imagining angry drunks who hate Bauserman...that's some imagination you have there, sir.
The panoramic shot of OSU's campus with the lyrics, "If you want to view paradise, simply look around and view it....". Such is the level of denial, I am sure.
October 9th, 2011 at 9:05 AM ^
I bet the coaches know that Guiton is horrible, and therefore the rightful holder of the third string spot. If he played, and played bad, those fans will burn the shoe down and blame Spielman, the NCAA, the skunks, and everyone else but their cheating ex-QB, ex-coach, and everyone else involved.
October 9th, 2011 at 10:23 AM ^
They will never blame the ex coach. He is the victim in all of this.
October 9th, 2011 at 9:07 AM ^
Is there some point at which crazy statements like this from Ohio fans actually hurts their recruiting? I wouldn't want to play for those lunatic fans.

I live here in Columbus and I can tell you it gets much worse than this. Overzealous Buckeye fans pride themselve on how unyielding they are about their team's performance. I have witnessed quite bizarre behavior bny seeming decent human beings here that turn into rabid maniacs when their team is not beating the bejeepers out of opponents.
OSU fans ran former president Karen Holbrook out of Columbus when she tried to crack down on unruly fan behavior here:
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/news/story?id=2997669
This is more information as to why some fans act like deathly mobs. Look closely and you'll a picture of the Horsehoe:
http://www.units.muohio.edu/psybersite/fans/deindividuation.shtml
On the flip side at Michigan we struggled through 3 years of humility without even so much as a bruised knee, yet some OSU fans want to hurt or maim their own players. Go Blue!
October 9th, 2011 at 2:41 PM ^
It was after they made a bridge collapse down there. I wrote her a letter because of how life threatening it had gotten down there in 2002. She had a nice letter on how they were going to clean it up...I told her good luck with that. Not surprised they pushed her out.
<br>
<br>I can see why brainwashed Ohioans still go there, but I don't know why out of state kids go into that in this day of the Internet.
October 9th, 2011 at 9:23 AM ^
Some one should send a link to that board to Brionte Dunn
October 9th, 2011 at 9:26 AM ^
He should be given unlimited eligibility and forced to start every game.
October 9th, 2011 at 9:26 AM ^
Usually, at THE Ohio State University, death threats come from behind the scenes to people who agree to testify to the NCAA Infractions Committee. That an opinion like this would surface on their public boards is surprising, even for their level of ignorance and bile.
When you compare this to even the worst of how many of us reacted to Threet and Sheridan, it's very clear who has the classier fanbase, as if we didn't know that already. Anyone who recruits against Ohio should take a screenshot of the thread and show it to the parents of recruits.
October 9th, 2011 at 2:42 PM ^
Has a classier fanbase.
October 9th, 2011 at 9:29 AM ^
If I'm Bauserman, even without comments like these, I would have a really, really hard time going out there and playing. He doesn't need to see comments like these to know how the fanbase feels. I can only imagine how going to class must be for him. He may not be the greatest quarterback, but the fans should support him. He got stuck in this situation because of Tressel and the Tat Five. He was never meant to be a starter.
October 9th, 2011 at 9:49 AM ^
It wasn't that long ago that people were saying similiar things about Navarre on other sites. Even when Navarre had solid junior and senior seasons.
October 9th, 2011 at 10:01 AM ^
I don't think anyone was saying he should "leave or die"
October 9th, 2011 at 10:46 AM ^
John Navarre said that he couldn't go out in Ann Arbor, because people would try to pick fights with him. I would argue that that is worse than idiots on a message board. Additionally I had seen physical threats to Navarre on the internet.
John Navarre might be my favorite Wolverine of all time simply for handling so much BS with dignity and class.
October 9th, 2011 at 10:25 AM ^
I never really understood why so many people gave Navarre a tough time. He was a very good QB and like you said, his junior and senior seasons were solid...and oh by the way, he is the last Michigan QB to defeat Ohio.
<hanging myself>
October 9th, 2011 at 12:15 PM ^
Navarre's biggest fault was that he wasn't Tom Brady or Drew Henson and helmed some of Lloyd's weaker units in the early 2000's. Michigan was losing to OSU and not looking as good as they did the previous 3-4 years and Navarre caught the hell for it...for the most part, unfairly.
Say what you want about Navarre, he still helmed the last undisputed Michigan Big 10 Championship team and was the last QB to defeat the Buckeyes. God, it's been such a long time.
October 9th, 2011 at 9:52 AM ^
Why would anyone (or Joe Bauserman) be surprised about what classy Ohio fans might have to say? Come to think of it, why would anyone really take these cheating idiots seriously?
Drunken idiots
Marking their "territory"? Srsly?
Can't Spell
Classy
October 9th, 2011 at 10:16 AM ^
Last one is a common photoshop meme. The kid is actually watching an EPL game, and has since been photoshopped into just about every jersey you could think of.
October 9th, 2011 at 11:54 AM ^
jersey looks like FC Copenhagen
October 9th, 2011 at 9:56 AM ^
Bauserman's a man....He's 26.
I just like how all the vitriol is directed at him, when Pryor, Posey, et al are the ones that forced him onto the field. Is it his fault that Pryor was "escorted" off campus? Is it Bauserman's fault that his top receiving threat is getting paid to chew bubble gum? Is it Bauserman's fault that Braxton Miller isn't ready to contribute?
I'm not one of those "college athletes are just kids and therefore shouldn't be judged" types, but wishing physical harm on a guy that no one ever expected to see significant playing time is beyond stupid.
But then again, these are the same people that poop in coolers, so what do I know?
October 9th, 2011 at 10:11 AM ^
Every time I see one of those message boards, I can't believe what a bunch of clowns these guys are. The part about "once you put on that uniform there are certain expectations, blah, blah, blah..." Yep, when you put on scarlet and grey, you can expect that some moron from Gahanna or Centerville or whatever town they're in is going to bash you and your family and your future kids if you screw up on a Saturday. While I realize that all fan bases have loons, I just find it troubling that these dudes have no problem just putting this hateful garbage out there for all to see. Sad.
October 9th, 2011 at 4:00 PM ^
that tsio fans talk and act like this. Do they think Bauserman played defense, RB, WR, etc. It is sick to think that because he is 26 years old that his level of maturity should be able to handle an idiot telling you, you should leave or die. For God's sakes. They need to get a life. I would not want to be Fickel at the end of the season. That state is starting to smolder.
October 9th, 2011 at 10:20 AM ^
I think you would be hard pressed to find a respectable blog on the internet that would allow these posts to stay up.
October 9th, 2011 at 12:28 PM ^
Pictures stay up. The ones where the guy sat in Starbucks and took pictures of girls. I'm fairly certain that even if Eleven Warriors has mods, they either don't care or agree.
October 9th, 2011 at 2:47 PM ^
If I'm looking for Spartan tears next weekend. Since the site is probably on FBI watch lists.
October 9th, 2011 at 10:22 AM ^
On Eleven Warriors, some of the posters have decided that it is now a "one game season." Guess which game...

Not LOL at Denard I mean, but how awful and non-creative "DeTard" is as a nickname. Is that all they can come up with?
October 9th, 2011 at 11:34 AM ^
Considering their next two games are @Illinois and home against Wisky, OSU is looking at 3-5 and 0-4 in the big ten. A win over UM would be about the only thing that could salvage this season
October 9th, 2011 at 12:19 PM ^
Yeesh, I can't imagine what's going to happen after the Badgers run train on OSU at the 'Shoe in a couple of weeks. Could make this week look tame.
October 9th, 2011 at 10:35 AM ^
Joe Bauserman is the new Nick Sheridan.
October 9th, 2011 at 10:37 AM ^
I watched the game last night with a couple of my buddies that are huge Ohi fans...we had couple tvs up with Michigan Ohio and Detroit all going...(Rangers fan there to..fun atmosphere) anyways I was loving the "well be alright, just had a bump in the road" talk at halftime...while we were strugling in out game and the tigers were down 2-0. I had nothing to really say...But in my mind I know the Buckheads are not gonna be good this year...way to many distractions and no leadership....anyways the second half was great for both games Michigan pulled away and Ohio shit the bed....should have heard the comments then...
October 9th, 2011 at 10:47 AM ^
Maybe he meant Bauserman should "live free or die." He could be from New Hampshire.
FREE BAUSERMAN!!!
October 9th, 2011 at 11:15 AM ^
Ohio State fans thoroughly enjoyed Michigan's 2008 season with Sheridan at the helm.
No disrespect to both players. Bauserman is probably doing the best he can.
But he sure appears to be out of his element.
Now shut the fuck up Donny!
October 9th, 2011 at 11:21 AM ^
is certainly not a good QB but he's also in a horrible situation not of his own making. I can't even imagine how his parents must feel if they've been reading any of those moronic rants.
October 9th, 2011 at 11:37 AM ^
It's unbelievable the things that Ohio fans are capable of.
October 9th, 2011 at 12:25 PM ^
After reading this "Beer coolers filled with poop", nothing OSU fans do surprise me anymore. They are a defective people.
October 9th, 2011 at 12:24 PM ^
Is not going to happen. You have a better chance at finding the Fountain of Youth.
October 9th, 2011 at 12:47 PM ^
Won't end up in Columbus. Well, one of several reasons.
Tressel came in to a strong program built on a solid foundation of talent and organization. They just needed someone to take them to the next level.
Now there's an entitled, angry fanbase, a bare cupboard of offensive talent, the likelihood of at least some NCAA sanctions beyond the self-imposed and an administration/booster base divided between those that want an insider and those that want an outsider. This is a much worse situation than RR came into at Michigan. Actually the same, but with a much more difficult fanbase and a giant NCAA scandal lingering ominously above like the Sword of Damocles.
Meyer being the savvy guy he is (who turned down ND for much the same reason), this will be very obvious and alarming to him.
October 9th, 2011 at 4:54 PM ^
psychological edge still has to be in their favor somewhat, as we simply haven't won for too long (duh) and they will be amped for the game. not taking anything for granted, especially if we have a good record and this is their chance to ruin our season.
October 11th, 2011 at 5:27 PM ^
bauserman may not be much of a QB, but I don't seem to remember the Michigan fanbase hoping for players "to die" a few years back.........they're just kids, many of which have been put in a position to do more than they are capable of...........
