OT: Do you have a favorite Sparty?
In one of the softball threads we have been having a great discussion. So I decided to bring it to its own thread.
The question is: who is your favorite Sparty?
Mine is Carol Hutchins. She is probably in my all-time Top 5 favorite Michigan coaches.
My second favorite Sparty is my sister who has a BA and MSW from msu. She teases me about our colors being "corn and blue". Spoken from a true Sparty and all things agricultural.

I was going to say John L, but I think you've made a better choice.

Why would you?
Generally, "favorite" and "sparty" are not in my vernacular unless it is in the context of favorite sparty meltdown..
Go Blue!
That's a derby!
Because this girl once, man....
The posters at RCMB are pretty uniformly lovable oafs.
King Leonidis
Nope.

..a dead one.
Derrick mason
Easy question. Bubba Smith second, I guess.
hooked up with this amazingly hot girl ...very nice!!
Well at one time my ex-girlfriend... that makes them easier to dislike. But now my current girlfriend, and then my mom and my sister. Why are all the women in my life Spartys?
Because they are not good at school.
My least favorite Michigan Wolverine is higher on my list then any spartan. In order to list my favorite spartan I would have to make a very long list. Hard to say.

For saying the things that he said in the article below. Interesting praise considering what happened later in the season. I wonder if he feels the same way now...
Definitely classy comments from Draymond.
Of course, I love the whole not much of a threat thing.
I love people with solid fundamentals and he does everything well. He seems like he has a solid head on his shoulders so I guess I root against him less than the rest. But I wasn't too upset when he bombed his last visit to Crisler so who knows :)
Disagree I hate draymond he is such a frinkin cry baby. For some reason I respect and like Delvon Roe. I dont know why I just kinda like the guy.

Magic Johnson, revolutionized the game, and to this day haven't seen anyone come close to playing the game like Magic. Truly one of a kind.

What he was able to do at the collegiate and professional levels was amazing. The size combined with the ungodly ability was unheard of at the time and I challenge you to show me a player since who could LEGITIMATELY play all five positions on the court at the NBA level.
Can anyone say that they saw a Magic Johnson "no look" pass and DIDN'T smile.
I love Magic to death. I actually cried when he said that he had HIV, because at the time, I KNEW he was going to die...and that was something I couldn't imagine.

Until you reminded me that Magic played at State. Guess I blocked that out for some reason.
He was so good that Heathcoate would hold him out until the end of the game.
The announcers weren't so disciplined, they focused on him for the entire Tournament run.

But I respect on the field prowess and Charles Rogers was an incredible, incredible WR.
Ryan Miller is pretty awesome because of the 2010 Olympics.

I had a threesome with 2 chicks from MSU... Needless to say, they're my favorite Spartans.

I had a foursome with 3 chicks from MSU... I win
And I'm assuming they weren't three freshman hotties but three worn out, pudgy and semi alcoholic seniors. I don't think girls start with more and end up with less then they do at MSU.
Yeah, right, and I had a 10-some with 7 chicks, a sock, some grass, and a jelly donut from MSU... I win

We played on the same football team in HS. Well actually he was out before I got there but his work was a thing of legend. Also the time he and a stud WR were caught waking and baking in the school parking lot was key part of high school lore. That pot habit definitely predated East Lansing. As the story goes Smoker refued to exit the vehicle until he'd finished both Egg McMuffins because he was really hungry.
He was actually a good guy by most accounts, just high as shit.

Really narrowing your options there with the pre-requisite.

Aside from a good number of posters here . . .
Chris Perry.
I remember him blowing kisses at us in 2003. I hated him then.
I've come to appreciate him ever since - both for that game, and in general. 51 carries? Sheeeit.
Chris Perry was a man. If I ever have a son, I will show him CP highlights, including the 2003 game, however painful it may be.
