I'd say if you put it to a vote home sites would win. Hosting a game on campus would be such a celebration of the school I think almost every school would prefer it, even if it means a little less $$ and a lot of congestion. That is not what's driving this, its fear of playing in cold weather. |

First ballot. Difference between him and Bagwell, there was a bunch of 1B/DH types of his era with similar profiles: Thome, Thomas, McGwire even Edgar Martinez and Palmiero. For catchers it was Pudge and Piazza. Bagwell will and should get in, but it might take hime awhile. He doesn't have the flash, milestones or siginifcant post-seasons to set him apart. |

I've seen them. Go look at Justin Feagin's tape or better yet Carlton Brundidge. It's a high school highlight tape. I am not saying don't offer him, I just doubt he plays much next year. Looks like the kid can shoot and handle the ball, but he is really small and doesn't appear to have much explosion to attack the rim at the next level. Until he gets more strength he will be over matched on defense. How much you want to bet Akunne gets more minutes next year? |

Justin Feagin without the issues (hopefully) seems like a fair comparison. His highlights suggest he is going to have a real tough time getting into the lane in the B1G. IMO he won't beat out Akune for playing time. I will say this about the team overall, Belien adjusted his offense to work take advantage of Morris and Burke the last two years. HIs base offense actually doesn't call for a point guard that dominates the ball. If they can get enough ball handling to be able to get the ball up the floor and the freshman are as good as advertised I think this team will surprise people. |

Right guys at the right time. Great kids couldn't have represented the program better but Belien is person most responsible for the program. If we are limiting to players this team struggles to .500 in the B1G without Burke, ask yourself if you can make that statement without Burke or Morris the last two years? |
