You should use ypc if you are separating out accuracy from efficiency otherwise it dings the player twice for the same issue. Not saying a 12 ypc is great but it gives a pretty similar stat line to Boykin as a junior in Meachams offense, his first like O'Korn. Which is something helpful for both him and Morris is a 2nd year with the same offense and coaches.

Last Saturday was fun, and hopefully this Saturday. This shit is just lame. Though Izzo overreactions are kind of fun, but in general property damage isn't fun and when you start to target actual people the potential for escalation is really not fun.

You take a shot at ESPN but the stuff on Grantland is way better. That was a puff piece that seems written by a publicist.

I was so desperate for content I started reading this article against my better judgement, then he makes the illogical conclusion that if Shane Morris doesn't start that Michigan needs to reevaluate their whole recruiting strategy. At that moment I stopped and looked in the mirror. I was so ashamed, this has to be rock bottom. There's 16 days left and I am reading Drew Sharp columns.

RR has shown over his entire career to be a good coach, not great. Hoke has a career that says mediocre. The program was headed in those directions when they were fired. 110,000 come out every week to experience great neither would've or should've survived long term.

Matter of fact he lied for years and years to any and everyone, including a grand jury. Only when faced with jail time did he cop to the truth. Why should anyone believe a word he says? He's lucky Martin died or he would've went to jail.

Webber is a convicted liar so it isn't much of a jump.

He has no arguement other than keep 'em on the plantation. God fordbid any rule in the NCAA benefit the kids. Poor, under the radar kids from Alabama get to drive a couple of hours for instruction and exposure to a great school and great coaching? This is a bad thing??? If the NCAA gets rid of this and not oversigning I am done.

What's the worst they could do? Suspension? That's just a fine with a day off.

Well he gave him the option of quitting so that seems like the exact opposite of slave master.

He has a third option. Get fined. That 100k was more important to him.
|43 weeks 17 hours ago||Well there's already 53 posts||
Well there's already 53 posts on this message board having little to with the a NFL. Sports center just spent a little more time on the NFL. If no NFL player ever did an interview or a pc the league wouldn't be what is today. What would be ridiculous is if the NFL didn't enforce it's rules. No one ever learned anything about football from a Super Bowl media day anyways, that's not the point.
|43 weeks 17 hours ago||That's part of his job this||
That's part of his job this week, he gets handsomely reward for it. If you don't want media attention go bag groceries at Kroger or anything else really. NFL wants him to promote the league and in his own socially inept way he is. If the NFL just let guys out of it without fines then no one would ever show up. All this media frenzy helps promote what will be one of the highest rated programs in television history.
|43 weeks 2 days ago||One of the downsides of||
One of the downsides of wrapping up recruiting before the kids play their senior season is not seeing that development. A lot of kids make a leap or finally get playing time. As someone mentioned Jake Ryan is a good example of a post senior season sleeper, Desmond Morgan, Frank Clark, Omameh among others who weren't getting offers at Michigan until their senior tape came out. There is also a lag in stars because of this. Don't worry though a Michigan commit gets bumped to 3 star almost automatically.
|43 weeks 4 days ago||Hoke was able to nab 3 Rivals||
Hoke was able to nab 3 Rivals 4 stars (Bryant, Taylor and Chris Barnett) in less time. These were borderline 3/4 type kids. Rodriguez got 5 solid 4 stars with a couple more weeks and more scholarships. I'd be surprised if Harbaugh didn't land at least two solid 4 stars.
|43 weeks 5 days ago||I less under the impression||
I less under the impression you could be on the team with an academic scholarship, however as soon as you play it counts towards the 85. I seem to remember this coming up with Alabama's Bear Bryant scholarships for his players children that often gave them some wiggle room.

The only thing interesting to me in all this Twitter banter from outside sources is the RT by Chris Clark about Weber coming back to Michigan. Might say more about him than Weber.

Poor grammar, no source?
Madison – Sam Madden, a touted offensive lineman from Barnegat, N.J., who gave Wisconsin an oral commitment in June and recently told the Journal Sentinel he was excited about working with head coach Paul Chryst and offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Joe Rudolph, no longer is a member of UW's 2015 class.

Not to be a wet blanket but according to a Milwaukee paper the decommit is because he can't pass UW admissions. Could just be sour grapes and bad info but if true I doubt he get by UM admissions.
|44 weeks 5 days ago||They tried to run plenty of||
They tried to run plenty of power while Denard was here, it's a handoff, the offensive line could never execute it with any consistently. A lot of that is coaching, Hoke wanted to run power here, then hired a West Coast OC and IZ Oline coach to go with his Read/Option personnel.
|44 weeks 6 days ago||I wonder if it means anything||
I wonder if it means anything that he was introduced as secondary coach and not as corner or safety coach as recently rumored with Zordich coming aboard. I assume that Zordich does LB's in some capacity.

If the Lions had a coach take a team to the Super Bowl with Rex Grossman, he'd be a god, probably have a statue in front of Ford Field.
|45 weeks 4 days ago||Really? Mattison, Fisch,||
Really? Mattison, Fisch, Baxter Wheatley and maybe Manning have never worked with Harbaugh, Durkin has for a few years but not since 2009, Jackson is relatively new to Harbaugh. Drevno is really the only long-time Harbaugh guy and even he left. Go back and compare that to RR whose only new guys were Fred Jackson and Shafer when they whiffed on Casteel and Hoke I think of only guy he hadn't worked with was Montgomery for the position he and Mattison coached it's not similar at all. I am not saying he's just hiring new guys but Harbaugh seems to want guys that want more, Carr,Hoke and Rodriguez seem to appreciate continuity more.
|45 weeks 4 days ago||Our previous three coaches||
Our previous three coaches built staffs that they trusted and worked well with, there was very little turnover and loyalty was very high. Jim has built a staff of what seems like much more ambitious coaches. And a suspect the turnover will be quicker with Harbaugh coaches. There's also a nice mix of coaching experiences there, young and old and guys that have worked extensively with Harbaugh and fresh blood.

I have a hard time believing QB can be much worse than last year. After that schedule projects to be 1.5 wins easier, imo. Hoke to Harbaugh has to be worth at least another 1.5 wins. Anything less than 8 wins would be pretty disappointing.
