OT - Mt. Rushmore of OSU Scumbags

Submitted by Blue_In_Texas on August 12th, 2022 at 11:13 AM

I learned today that the guy who was killed in the FBI standoff yesterday is from Columbus.

(Please don't make this political, think we can all agree someone who tries to kill law enforcement is a bad guy)

As such, I thought about the Mt. Rushmore of OSU Scumbags/Bad People. There are a lot to choose from, so thought I'd get your thoughts.

1. Lex Wexner - Huge OSU benefactor who the OSU medical school (and tons of other stuff at OSU) is named after. This guy was Epstein's benefactor and is the subject of a Hulu doc on Victoria's Secret, and is an alleged sex pest.

2. Casey Anthony - No explanation needed.

3. Jeffrey Dahmer - Attended OSU. Most likely would be an 11Warriors poster if still alive.

4. Urban Meyer? FBI shooter guy?

(This post is supposed to be in jest. Please don't get serious about this).

a) that didn't happen. he volunteered for a 3 year long study where he was emotionally abused. no electroshock or electrical "brain experiments" occurred, per kaczinski himself.

b) also per kaczinski himself, "I am quite confident that the experiences with Professor Murray had no significant effect on the course of my life"

y'all make up the most hilarious, easily disproven stuff and type it out with conviction like it's fact

I'm not sure a quote from Kaczinski about what did or didn't effect the course of his life should be a data point in any argument.  Now, your first point probably sums up all you need to prove your point, but as a Montanan, anyone who chooses to live in Lincoln should have their opinions on their own psyche taken with a big grain of salt.

Yeah, that Vermont. It's a sketchy state. All that green shit and mountain stuff.

Taking one son on a tour of NE colleges, I saw we were near the U of Vermont so I steered us through town. When we got to campus, I asked if he wanted to take a break from driving, get out, look around. Nope. Not interested at all. (I thought him at Vermont would have been cool.)

Yeah. I don’t understand the negative connotations regarding Madonna. It could be argued she’s one of the most influential musicians of her time. Much of what you see in pop music today, she  revolutionized.

And if you want to throw shade at Ohio just bring up Warren Harding, Teapot Dome, and the overall Ohio Gang. There’s a reason there hasn’t been a president from Ohio since. Not some dipshit who shot a nail gun into FBI headquarters.

user name not checking out.  NFG usually means 'not f*&^%*g guilty', and that was exactly the verdict rendered in that case.  the retrial of the other two is happening now, but knowing the details of the case as i do, i like the defense's cards better than the government's.

Uh no.  The FBI set them up and made the plot and coerced them into it via a variety of means.

Do your research.

"The FBI said its informants operated independently, unaware of each other’s identities. But audio recordings show they colluded to produce the evidence the FBI wanted."

"A person who is demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell him nothing, even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents and pictures. ...he will refuse to believe it... That's the tragedy of the situation of demoralization"

Guess which one of us Yuri Bezmenov is describing in this quote.

that theme is actually true.  one instance:  they picked up one defendant in his home state without telling him where they were going.  5 people in the car - the defendant, two undercover FBI agents and two snitches.  they get to michigan.  defendant promptly gets a ride back to his home state without engaging in any funny business. the gov't was trying to get him for 'crossing state lines' in this endeavor.

the gov't lost the first two verdicts.  remains to be seen on these next two which are being retried.  fwiw, i'm not vouching for the defendants who is/are/were idiots of the highest order, i'm merely stating facts that two weren't guilty of criminal offenses and the gov't grossly overreached and was patently dishonest in it's attempts to get them.
