Excuse me

I'm not familiar with this "No question, Jim" character, but he hardly seems like a reliable source for HALOLs.

Wins the day.

And that's a biologic fact. Case closed.

Well

I'm sure there are plenty of people who cheer for other teams that aren't Vince Smith fans.

LOL

A small explosive package.

But seriously. He fast. And even if he wasn't are you really saying "oh noes another Mike Hart!"

Saved

Link saved for next time someone asks me what "tl;dr" means.

Vinopal!

Allen looked goodt against Purdue last week....I'll go over for him.

Under for MIIIIICH RZ points. A couple long TDs will make it come up just short.

Third one is so tough with all those short passes Kelly likes to throw. With the rain....and hopefully MICH's focus on preventing the big play....I'll go under. Plz?

Shaw and Smith might both hit 100 Saturday. Over. Brain pointed out the play where UConn overplayed Gardner and he handed to Smith for a big gain. I think you see ND overplay Denard a lot, creating huge gaps for Smith and Shaw. With the way the O-line blocked last week, they could have a special day.

Just epinion

Just epinion, but I think it would be a bad thing to throw like a race horse.

Sweet Justice

Clever, changing some of the facts to make us think you weren't this dude in NY. Plz write.

We will not vanish without a fight!

I like to read this porst in the context of the speech from Independence Day. That being said, I really dis-egree.

#2

I believe #2 is our favorite #2, Charles Woodson. Pretty sweet running back in HS iirc. 9 TDs might be a stretch, but that's my guess.

Not so sure

While the Feagin incident might be a better comparison for what you're talking about, I think the practice time issue is apt when talking about media coverage.

The point comes through clearly enough: trouble at UM results in a one sided article no quotes on the UM side other than standard blanket denials. Trouble at MSU results in a one sided piece downplaying the incident with quotes from the parents of the accused.

I think it would have been helpful to note that parents of UM players quoted in the August hit job were obviously itching to come forward, but couldn't get a quote in the Freep, while here the parents were the first people approached.

Wow

Didn't you used to come on here and make at least some sense? You may have a valid point or two hidden somewhere in the drool and spittle you just posted, but do us a favor and nap before you try to put thought to screen next time.

AA is a whore...

An OSU fan yelled this in the bathroom in the second quarter. Apparently my pregame buzz was still going because I immediately yelled back "Columbus was a tranny!"

Terry Glenn and David Boston filling bulletin board space before The Game.

However

His golf clubs are RUINED!

Seriously though, that's amazing.

VT - UNC

I caught a little of the VT - UNC game last night and Va Tech's RT lined up in the backfield on just about every play I watched. Seems UM has probably developed a reputation for this somehow and refs are looking for it.

Also...

I've heard three people at the office say today that they're excited for MSU's night game on national tv.

Here's to hoping they can't find the game before it's out of reach.

Lebron

Lebron should be able to give him some good advice regarding adversity and people treating him like something less than a god. And, you know, being in college.

Poor Aim

It's a wall! It's impossible to miss...

Oh.

Well...

Who is the AD at WVU?

45 or so

GOOOOOOOOOOO!

BLUUUUUUEEEE!

Honestly...

I'm to the point where I am ready to see a team like Boise State in the championship game. Here's why:

1) Boise St. over Oklahoma and Utah all over Alabama showed they can compete with top-five type teams.

2) They're trying to play top teams and no one wants to play them, as was mentioned above. It's really not their fault if no one wants to schedule them. If they go unbeaten, they at least deserve a look, not just a "you're Boise State, you're not allowed."

3) So what if they play some close games against weak teams. Everyone does.

4) I think this is what brings me to the point where I want to see Boise in the title game the most: it's all a pretty big farce anyway, so why not give them a shot one year? The championship game rarely features two teams that most people think are the best two. Last year, to me, Texas absolutely deserved to be in over Oklahoma, and other years there have been similar curious choices. If the glory of the current system is supposed to be that every week is like a playoff--lose and you're out--scenario, why not make that true? No more one or two loss teams get a pass over the Boise States of the world.

JME

Nice

Good for Braylon getting out of Cleveland.

Then again, this only delays further problems with Lebron for a year.

Same...

I'd keep going too.

They somehow keep getting the Lions to draft the best of their awful players.

There are plenty

But I'd like to point out how annoying Pam Ward's "touchdown Wolverines" call was on Tate's touchdown run in the fourth. It was just awful.

Damn

Tough break. Good luck with that.

/backs up PS3

DRob

I think I remember seeing a d-lineman getting in Denard's face as he was throwing, either causing him to not step into it as much or to not follow through. I thought at the time that's why he threw it short.

Can't wait....

Until Pryor or another star (no UM please!) does something questionable in a game and a team has to wait until Wed./Thur. to find out if they have him for Saturday.

Notre Dame
Still hate Nebraska and it really upset me that we got to face the two culprits for the '97 split and lost (Tenn and Neb).

Nice

I'm glad I finish reading these posts before negging...you were cruising for one for a while there.

Leach is fine btw.

Don't like this at all....

I was in the camp all along that favored sitting Jonas for a half or an entire game, but not by the Big Ten.

1) They have let numerous other cheap shots go in the past.

and

2) This is going to lead to other moves like Charlie's where you complain about something in hopes of getting a guy suspended. I'm not saying everyone will do it, but I wouldn't put it past at least a couple coaches in this conference.

This is why...

This is why we need the +/- system for all online media. Serious neg bang for reporting a story that came out a year and a half ago.

Angry

All them teeth, no toothbrush.

Kanye

Jimmah, I know you're grabbing yourself and Imma let you finish, but Brady Quinn has one of the greatest crotch-grab photos in ND quarterback history!

Not to mention...

He bitch-slapped that Buckeye on his way to the end zone! Sickening!

But honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Mouton sit for a quarter or two.

Speed

Someone had some stats up after the WMU game about average time between plays for our offense and IIRC it was much improved over last year. With the guys knowing the offense better this year I think it's safe to say they're getting to the line more quickly.

Woods!

Atta boy!

Always loved watching him on special teams.

Woodley

It was in fact Woodley. Quinn fumbled yakety sax style when the ball slipped out of his hand attempting a pass. Woodley scooped it up and ran 65 or so yards and stiff armed a ND tight end (want to say it was John Carlson) in the process.

Just search Michigan Notre Dame 2006 and it will be toward the end of most highlights. It was our last score.

Nice Work

Well now instead of running with one glaringly outstanding idea, I'm going to want to spend my entire paycheck on booze tomorrow (and get someone to go to Indiana for apple pie drinks).

Probably end up with something delicious on the rocks to start, then go to beer. That should get me in prime shape for 3:30.

Go Blue!

Forecast for Saturday

PAIN!!!

Eye Black

Mika - Rosenberg

Ummm, what happened?

Played my head-to-head game last week and won, but now it has me down for an OT loss? Was this because we played it late?

Les Miles is not pleased!

Odoms

That play reminded me a little of Shaw's long run against Minnesota last year. We all heard about Shaw's ninja speed (keeping in mind that he was playing hurt that game) and on that long run Odoms just went flying by him and took a defender on. Nothing like sprinting 50 yards to get a block.

Mathews had a couple very nice blocks on Denard's TD also, iirc.
