I second that. Maybe Matthews will take one to the house.

Maybe Stonum will take a KO to the house... it's been a while since we've seen one of those

Obviously a clear day is beneficial to us because of the potential fumbleitis but going forward do you think rain would be beneficial for us as we're going to be, hopefully, much better at running the ball than most teams?

Interesting point.
I would guess (I'm not a football genius) that rain still wouldn't be helpful because we are hopefully rely on agile burners for runners rather than big bruisers. The rain would potentially hurt our team more because it would be harder to make cuts and accelerate on wet grass.

But I was thinking of just games in the Big House - I think if we'd have to go play in the rough at ND or down at the 'Shoe rain would be bad but with the field turf I think it's not quite as bad of a situation (although I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time).

The Shoe has field turf now, too. So there's another stadium where wet grass wouldn't affect us.

They just had to make us deal w/ that POS field one last time when it really mattered before replacing it - grr!!!

let the weather AND the final outcome mirror 2003! The best game I have ever attended.
