The University's (not the football team) arrogance is dumbfounding...they sold out their head football coach,the kid and his family.
The impact of the coaches and his teammates at UM could have had a life changing impact on this kid...all holding him to a higher standard for both his life decisions and his academic development. I have seen what a good team environment can do for athletes who have messed up in the past.
Kids like this don't need more people shutting the door in their face. I'm going to have to walk this one off for a while. Makes me sick.
Was at the game and thought they did the music just the right amount. Didn't supersede the band in my opinion as they were used 90% of the time to fire up the crowd. I have been going to games the last 20 years and it was a nice change of pace in my opinion. Re-watched the dvr'd game on Sunday and couldn't really hear the music from the point of watching the game on tv. Additionlly, this was my first game this season and thought it was much louder. Go Blue!
RR knows we need depth at qb. He doesn't want DEATH from last year and besides that he has two freshman this year. Its a one year gig. A few injuries in the fall could have you wishing we did have paulus. I don't like the fact of him just jumping into the mix either (overcoverage in the news included) but how is him joining the team any different from the kids coming in in the fall? he will get hit just like the others and go through the same stuff they do.
