Peppers at 10, which seems low.

My body is ready. I'm full on the hype train. Cannot wait to kick-off. I'm totally buying into the dream. Let's do this!!

Article link says neither was a projected starter for this year so which is it, was the Evans guy an All Big Ten d-lineman or a backup?

Tulsa is a slightly better version of Northwestern (sans seven footer), which I think bodes well for Michigan.

VCU is relatively safe in the field even with a loss here though this might push them to a First Four game in Dayton.

The Bracket Matrix updates lag behind and Michigan in the latest matrix. It would be a complete shock to not be in the field at this point.

Relax and chill out until tonight when we end up as the 9-seed in Kansas' pod

Lunardi's picks all year long are all over the map and never make much sense. Then selection Sunday he moves things to align with reality so that he (along with 90% of bracket prognosticators with a brain) will correctly guess 66+ of the teams in the field.
|19 weeks 5 days ago||we in||
100% in the field, toss-up whether or not we will have a first four game or not.
Michigan compares favorably to the following other bubble teams: Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Temple, Butler, Monmouth and Syracuse.
Michigan will be in the field, possibly the last bye given and you can count on Jay Bilas and gang hemming and hawing all week about "undeserving" Michigan.

The only two games I see as near-guarantee losses are @Iowa and @Maryland, every other game Michigan *should* have a fighting chance or be favored.

Michigan should finish the first half of big ten play at 7-2, but it's hard for me to even count two "likely wins' in the second half (only @Minnesota looks like a win).

Penn State played Indiana without their starting QB or RB. I wonder if those two players were any good?
They lost to Northwestern.
They got clobbered by four touchdowns against OSU.
They squeaked by Maryland by one point.
While they may be a talented team, their resume does not instill the same fear or worry that Indiana or MSU did or OSU does. Michigan will take care of business.
|36 weeks 1 day ago||Wagner||
My thought is take a gamble on Mo Wagner's upside. Play him as many minutes as possible to start the season and hope he develops into something resembling a mini-McGary to compliment Doyle. Donnal has looked atrocious.
All the positions 1-4 on the lineup and coming off the bench look terrific but making a run in the Big Ten or to the NCAAs won't happen without some talent emerging at the 5 and it's not coming from Donnal.

My submission titled "Leave The Offense On The Field We're Going For It".
With all due respect to the immense writing talents of Heiko and Nick, Brady Hoke is not walking through that door.
There are a host of Michigan fans (rightly so) traumatized by the past. Well not here, not today.
Mighty Meeeechigan is installed by Vegas as a near touchdown favorite. There's a reason for this! Mormon Touchdown Jesus doesn't wake up by noon Eastern Standard Time (and he's actually been quite overworked so far this season). Jake "Don't Call Me Shirley" Rudock will stand tall in the pocket and deliver throws as of yet unseen as the whispers of an NFL first rounder BYU defensive tackle are just that, whispers. Ty Isaac and DeVeon Smith will take turns running over outmatched BYU linebackers as Michigan sustains drives with aplomb that would make even Lloyd crack a curmudgeonly smile.
Today is the day.
Jabrill Peppers is going to truck an unsuspecting slot receiver so hard on a third down that BYU has no choice but to stand aside and let him march down the field for a punt return on the following play.
Rashan Gary will witness an absolute devastating DLine attack from the Wolverines and know, deep down inside, he's next.
There will be a moment, probably in the second quarter, when the stripes miss an unspeakably obvious pass interference call. But every player, every coach, every one of the one-hundred thousand fans, and Coach's clipboard will know what happens next. I don't even have to say it. But it will *work*.
A peace and calm will come over the stadium from the resultant tirade. Order will be restored.
Zero turnovers. Four offensive touchdowns. One punt return TD. One more rousing chorus of The Victors and the faithful are rewarded and the traumatized shall once again know the feeling of domination.
Michigan 35, BYU 14.

Just read the chapter on the tennis team. Oh. My. God. I thought I despised DeBord back when he was just Al Borges of the Carr regime. What a crony.
