I noticed. And mentioned it to friends. He really is an unsung player on this team. He blocks like an animal and has gone from suspect catcher of the ball to routine circus catch hero. Assuming he comes back he seems like the type to be named captain next season, play a few downs in the NFL as a special teams ace/backup receiver, and get into coaching.

First we have Cade denying Edwards' throwing ability, now we have Corum and McCarthy feuding. This team is in shambles! divided! Spelling certain doom for the playoffs!

"Corum used Thursday’s media appearance as a de facto advertisement by wearing a T-shirt bearing his logo and slogan — 'The Duce is Loose.'"

I don't even know where to begin w/ this one. Duce is the Latin word for leader, but I have to imagine it's supposed to read deuce for his jersey #. Then once you get past that, you can't stop thinking about dropping a loose deuce. I hope his other phrases are more aligned to things like "lightning in a bottle", etc.

Ha, that’s a great quote and exactly what I’d want to hear from a lightning fast running back with some swagger. He should think he’s the fastest dude around when he steps on the field.  It’s pretty nuts to think there’s a quarterback on the squad who’s even in the conversation.  I still have flashbacks of John Navarre running down the field against Minnesota escorted by a cadre of linemen. That play looked like a giraffe being escorted by a herd of elephants.

i watched that last night 3-4 times ... it was pretty crazy how both anthony and jj gave everything to pave the path. you dont see that on every team.  a QB and a WR behind the play catching up to get the guy in the endzone.

Pump it up!

Is Mike Sainristil nick-named 'Anthony'?  Because Andrel Anthony (#1) wasn't anywhere near that action.  However, Mike Sainristril (#5) made a good block, and JJ McCarthy (#9) kept pursuit from gaining on Corum (#2).  Once Sainristil made the block in front, Corum accelerated to the EZ.  Roman Wilson (#14) threw the first block that sprung him around the corner.

I really don't know why people have been getting Sainristil and Anthony confused on this play!
