Not trying to bait too much discussion on this, but just to note it as I was curious about how it would be handled:
The Holocaust Museum was not a full team activity, but was highlighted in the video as an optional activity during a "choose you own adventure" window on the Mall during the time in DC. Donovan Edwards was not shown during this portion.
Not as upset at Hunter as some, but the "you got the whole world waiting" was a bit much.
Also, in general, I'm the first to say high schoolers should get every ounce of attention, every ESPN appearance, every free trip, every eye on their twitter they can out of the recruiting process. It only happens once and they've earned it. It is a bit odd, though, seeing the same type of behavior out of guys who have already been through it once and already have all the attention in the world on them.
Maybe I'm just bitter, but I like the look of this kind of stuff much less in the case of adults - it is why LeBron's decision seemed so unaware.
Am I the only one who read the OP sarcastically? Maybe I’m giving credit where it isn’t due, but the whole “they had to settle for the 84th best player in the country” seemed somewhat self-aware.
edit: especially with the use of “chump” like do people say that world seriously ever lol
Yea the footage wasn't on the broadcast - listening to the crowd noise for it is tough too because there were replays being shown too that could have caused roars
A bit tangential to this post, but I've been trying to hunt down a Michigan vs OSU moment for a little while:
It happened during the 2021 game at the big house after Roman Wilson had his helmet ripped off and that fight ensued. As I remember it, while the referees were sorting out the penalties, the big screen focused in on Donovan Edwards (I think...) pumping the crowd up. There was a swagger about his reaction that encapsulated the confidence of the team and crowd. There was a feeling in the air that whole game that something was different and I have been hoping to track this moment down. It wasn't shown on the broadcast so it isn't in the standard YouTube videos.
Anyone capture that moment? Or even able to just confirm I didn't dream it up?
Having lots of trouble deciding
I need one RB one flex and one WR from this group
Ryan Matthews
Isaiah Crowell
Bishop Sankey
Kenny Britt
Julian Edleman
Reuben Randle
Option 3.
But if you want I think a mix of Option 1 and 3 could work out. Wear the jersey but don't yell "GO BLUE!" When they make a good play just blend in. Definitely not option 2 that starts getting a little weird/creepy.
Now that I think about it the floor might already be clogged with J Smith at the 3 so adding Rondos broke jump shot might now be the best move. Jennings will stretch the floor better than Rondo
I am bulls fan but when I was younger I rooted for the pistons. I was gonna go back to watching them when they got Burke but of course they screwed it up. Will watch as many Utah Jazz games as I can.
If there is one thing I know it is that Trey Burke is a WINNER. Utah is getting a great player and a great guy. I'm gonna miss him in the maize and blue.
Is it too much to say that if Ray Allen misses that three, the way Lebron played down the stretch in game 6, that King James is never seriously compared to Michael Jordan again?

Not accusatory! Perhaps hard to get the right tone in writing.
I don’t think it is unwarranted for me to make the connection.

Dale Chesson has this one in the bag
J.J. McCarthy,…

He is a legacy and at Providence Day with Jadyn Davis.
See Sam and others talking confidently about him joining the class here (from 2:00 to 3:15): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcmrOzaAz1Y
All five crystal balls on 247 are for Michigan. Most recent was a few hours ago.

Interesting he says he wants jeremiah smith - who seems to be a current OSU commit https://247sports.com/Player/Jeremiah-Smith-46114094/
