The forecast is for scattered T-storms in the afternoon tomorrow (hopefully they are gone by the time we start.) Despite that, who will be there tomorrow night? I will be the one in the Nike #20 home jersey...... will be a lot of those but one of them will be me.
Roll Call: Scrimmage UTL I
Sad I can't be. Aug 30th can't come soon enough...
I'll be their for sure
You should tape Eastside Maize on the back of your jersey, so we know which one you are.
That would take the fun out.
I'll be there.
One of 300 on the field, correct?
No, I'm not a student at Michigan.
by the Chobani and socks.
And multiple different receiver gloves, can't forget the receiver gloves, man.
And wearing the UTL3 jersey
WD will stand out because of how much maize and blue he is wearing.
I'll be there and hope the T-storms are not! Appears to be a 30-40% chance between 6 and 10pm.
Michigan football or Price vs. Hernandez aggghhhh
Choices will make or break you... act accordingly.
Price is Right
Well it's almost 7pm on Friday....any chance the 2 future home and home non conference opponents are announced at the scrimmage tomorrow night?
It seems like it. Even if that was not the original plan ...with this ND blowup today, I am sure Brandon doesn't want anyone to rain on his parade.
Like a heroin addict in need of a fix I will be there, sweaty and trembling until I get it.
I'll be there. Also rocking Nike #20 home jersey.
That is the jersey I own that is most dear to my heart
My favorite kind of event. Free, and my team can't lose!
They can't lose, can they?
Best not to ask.
It means there is no text in the body of the post. Just the subject line.
Keep doing your thing man!
With all the speculation, I thought you wanted a picture of the nose tackle.
I'll be there, more than likely wearing a throwback Michigan jersey-shirt, white with the University's crest on the chest. Maize and blue striped sleeves.
Probably going with my dad, a U of M grad... And he could use it, he just got diagnosed with cancer :(
Sorry to hear about the diagnosis. Here's to wishing your father a speedy and full recovery.
Much appreciated, thanks.
But in the meantime, seems watching your team when it can't lose should be pretty good therapy. And may the season be good enough to ease his way through treatment.
you and yours are in my family's prayers...
I'll be there. I'm an addict and football is my drug
I haven't decided yet.
TOTALLY GOING. CAN'T FREAKING WAIT.
Does anyone know if there will be a place to tailgate beforehand? Hoping to sit out and have a few before the scrimmage.
Can never get enough Michigan football.
I didn't know that stacked shit that high!
Got the student sideline tickets. CAN'T WAIT!
Anybody know if there Is there a charge for parking?
$10 at Pi-High, I believe.
Taking my Dad. Taligating at my buddy's on Snyder. Rain or shine.
Yeah, this will cap a full day for me - I will be there along with long-suffering Mrs. LSA. My kids will be with her parents, and our first stop tomorrow is the Renaissance Festival, but we are planning to swing down and have dinner in Ann Arbor and hit up the scrimmage before going home. I might try to live mod - we'll see how the iPad does, if it holds a charge throughout the day.
Im sorry. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks thiis, but are all of your posts 500 word essays?
LSA does typically have multiple sentence posts/summary. It's similar to when you know WD was the OP. An LSA post can be identified- story flow, prose, italics, etc. these are good things, and it's fun for me to read LSA posts
I tend to love to read his posts too, just lengthy sometimes.
Yep, getting through 76 words is a real chore, since moving your lips that much gets tiring.
You're not the only one. It's kind of a bit overkill sometimes... Brevity goes a long way, man.
I was gonna make a Drake Johnson joke, but you got the "Nike" in there. Well played sir.
I will have a maize top hat on, (see avatar). Visitors side, either in normal seats sec 1 row 51 or right behind the bench to cheer on Wormley and for my daughter to get another glimpse of Kalis, even if he isn't healthy.
I plan on being there.
No clue where I'm sitting. Roommate got the tickets. It was pretty clutch.
Best friends wedding...smh
it before the season. And then Hoke springs this on them.
I wish desperately I could see the scrimmage on TV.
I live in Orlando now and I'm both dying for the season to start, and afraid of it.
Because, another season like last year, and my wife will hit me with a skillet.
With my high school team.
It will be her third time in the Big House. 1 NHL game, 1 fake soccer game and now a fake football game. She will get the real Big House against PSU.
I saw King win our only State Title in football and saw the Giants vs Vikings when the Metrodome roof collapsed. Now I gotta see a Lions game there.
Orlando here as well. Always looking for fans to watch the games with. Have a 75" Samsung HD. Let me know if you are interested and you can get away from the wife!
Scrimmage then first venture to world of beer.
I'll be there with the family. Can't wait for some effing football.
I'm down in Carolina del Sur...
Never been to the Big House...
i will be there!!!
I will be there with my husband and son!
How do I get tickets?
I spoke to the ticket office and they said you don't need tickets, just show up.
I came in for my birthday weekend. Hoping it doesn't rain.
I was going to make the drive up from central Indiana, but I work noon to close at work tomorrow now.
I'll be there and I have 2 tickets to go on the field. Unfortunately I may not be able to use either. Sad.
Wanna trade tix? :)
Might get Dad Of The Year Award if my 4yr old gets to stand on the turf.
I'm going to be using the tickets if I can. The only reason I wouldn't is if they only let the person who's name is on the ticket on the field. So if that's the case your 4 year old couldn't use it either.
I'll definetly be there
I can hardly wait!
I have to be in Missouri instead this weekend. Sending my daughter. Told her I want a full report.
I'll be there with my wife. Guess I'll sport my Hart (Nike 20 Jersey) as well.
Will be there, hoping to hit up the tobacco rose for a nice pre-game cigar in their lounge, GO BLUE!!!
Im not going to make it...but I hope everyone enjoys themselves and brings back good reports on the team!
Pretty much have to be.
Gents, for all who are going, I'd appreciate some rundown. I'm sure the Blog will attend, but I haven't seen anything about it, specifically.
So I'll be there, on the visitor sideline. I'll be the old one (30 year old grad student). Can't wait! Go Blue!
Awesome! That's gonna be cool to be on the field.
Don't forget to streak if we win!
Totally unrelated, but I saw the link in your comment and downloaded mgoblog hd, it's about 100 times better/cleaner than the old one. Thank you!
Seth, don't like your job???
I will be there with daughter up from Kentucky for her bachelorette party, which does not include the scrimmage. Though a UK grad, she retains her lifelong Wolverine allegiance.
Long drive from Pittsburgh.
What I'd be watching if I were going (and would love observations from people who go)...I won't just type OL b/c that's too broad.
1. Miller at C - surprised yesterday to see him as starter
2. Cole at LT - for obvious reasons
3. Kugler when he gets reps at C
5. Morris vs. Speight
I'm going to be looking for giant noodles and the HSV values of all things maize.
Just approval from the Department of Domestic Affairs. I'm in!
The old lady confirmed it. She actually sounded excited about going. Always solid news.
If I dont have tickets, can I still go? I can't seem to find where to get them on the website.
Tix were for season ticket holders to gain early admission. General admission starts at 7pm. Just show up and cheer on the fullbacks.
be a great evening for this. I'm going to be a last minute decision most likely depending on when I finish some other things.
Only 10% chance of rain now at 5 PM and 7 PM. So odds are looking much better now.
I know this scrimmage thing came together kind of quickly this year, but in the future might it be a good recruiting tool? Sort of like another "mini" spring game, except in the summer with better weather. I know recruits come in for visits during practices all the time, so if they would have a night scrimmage once every fall camp, might be able to have some recruits come in to watch practice under the lights and with a good amount of fans there too. Just a thought.
to you. It would be nice if they make this an annual. Michigan Stadium + game always = a great recruiting tool.
so no, but will be back for whatever that team is that we play in 2 weeks
of rain drop South across the state wondering how the chances for rain have diminished?
Still mulling this over.
There is 0% chance of rain unil then.
expected to start?
I any one have an extra it would be super. I got eight and then daughter came in to town and would like to go also. That would make my day all my kids and grandchildren together.
email [email protected]
to get in early. It sounds like all you need to do is save a seat for her.
I was under the impression you had to register early and have a ticket to get in.
Thanks for the info. She could get in at 8:00 then?
Getting ready to make the 3 hour drive to A2 right now. Having a mini family reunion at the Big House tonight. Should be a great time.
I'll be there and I'm bringing my pops as well
deciders. Beautiful night for some football.
