This first notable thing I recall about Barwis was helping Brock Mealer to walk again. Having followed him on twitter since his time at Michigan, he's helped numorus other people regain their ability to walk as well. He shouts out accomplishments for all of the pro althletes that have trained with him, for which there have been quite a few.
He's opened three gyms in Michigan and one in Florida. He also had a show on discovery called America Muscle a few years ago.
No idea how any of that translates to training baseball players...
Even if they are lower profile guys that he thinks they can mold into great lineman down the road considering they could use a couple more bodies on the OL.
Talent evaluation seems to be one of his strong suits so maybe he already has some guys identified they can move on in the last week (!!!) before signing day.
On the recruiting front, Michigan has been involved with an increasing number of battles with both Clemson and Alabama. I feel like Bama winning another championship isn't going to move the needle much for them in recruiting as they have been on top for what seems like forever already and Clemson has a lot more to gain as they haven't won a national chamionship since their first and only in 1981.
Can't stand either team but I'm going with Bama and potentially avoiding tougher recruitng battles with Clemson.

3. OL is also one of the hardest position to play well early.
They need to have hit on the kids they recruited last year and are recutiing this year to get the offense to reach it's potential sooner than later but i'm opomistic the offense will be elite once depth builds on the OL. They are already getting elite talent at the skill positons.
